Chad Schapiro: Some people are close to going DIRECTOR in 2006!

Chad Schapiro: HAPPY NEW YEAR!! CLEAN SLATE!

NEW YEAR NEW YOU!!

People that are successful recreate themselves anew with every failure. What I mean by that is when I would do something wrong (which was all the time) I would learn from that "failure" and be a new person moving forward stronger than I was prior. This would be a usual course of action and I would mentally clear the slate and be excited for the increased awareness and skills moving forward.

Most people in my opinion don't do this often enough. I've seen the Marita's, Mark's, Ardie's, and Marwan's, and many of the MDC's of the team do this ever single week since they were started. It is a great trait to add. It has allowed them to become even better than they know by slowly adding and growing.

Others get their chance now with New Year's. Look on the past as a great learning experience. Cut yourself some slack for the lack of results you wished you had achieved and get ready to go nuts. This is a great date to really clear that slate and become a new affiliate that brings tons of focus and production forward this coming year. Think of everything you'd like to be in 2007 and act that way starting day one. It's a whole new year, let's make it the BEST YEAR EVER!!!!

Chad Schapiro: Lessons from Tiger Woods

At 5 Years old he was asked, "Why are you getting so Good"... Tiger's reply was, "Practice"... Then he was asked, "How much do you Practice"... He said, "About a Whole Bunch"...

Wow... PRACTICE. That's a key take-a-way. Many people look at people who are Great at what they do and all they see is the Greatness that comes out of them. However, they don't see the practice that went into the external demonstration of greatness. So keep that in mind. If you want to be Great at something -- Practice being bad long enough and eventually you'll start being good. Once you are good for long enough, you'll start to be great. Once you are great enough long enough, you get to be called "lucky" by the outsiders looking in. It's a very interesting equation.

Charles Barkley said this as it relates to Tiger: "I enjoy watching Greatness".
Here's an Alert for you: Not only does Charles Barkley enjoy watching greatness, we all do. So choose to develop and exude your greatness so you can give others something magical to watch.
When Tiger was 5 years old, he was on the T.V. show called "That's Incredible"... On that show he said, "When I'm 20, I'm going to beat Jack Nickalaus and Tom Watson"...

Wow. Do you see how he set that intention at the age of 5. Do you think it has anything to do with the results he has produced up to this point in his career? The question is "What intention did you set years ago that has now manifested?" More importantly, what intentions are you setting now that will be on track to manifesting in the near future?

I know what you may be thinking... But how was Tiger bold enough to make such big claims and goals when he didn't know how he was going to pull it off? Good question. Tiger's father -- the late Earl Woods -- said, "Tiger developed the ability to not be ashamed of not knowing... And that's something that many kids never get."

That's a powerful statement. The question is, are you willing to make claims and set big goals even when you're not 100% sure how you're going to pull it off? Definitely something to think about.

I know it's Christmas and my wife would kill me if she knew I was still working. But somethings have got to be shared!

Chad Schapiro: Thankfulness for 2006

At the end of 2006 here it is necessary to look on the past and identify all of the great strides we have made forward. Many people wish they could time travel from a point of lack to a point of abundance. The reality is things don't work like that, so that just sets us up for disappointment and eventually wears down our commitment. We must celebrate and take great joy for the steps along the road. Many times they can seem and in reality are 3 steps forward and two steps back. However....We still move ahead and are on track for our goals. I've worked with people in their home business who were coming to the business with sooo much baggage that it took them years just to get back to the beginning point where most people would start. Then they made a few thousand, the next year a few more thousand, and then their income jumped by 10's of thousands, and eventually millions.

All paths are similar but different at the same time. They are similar in that they take great effort and a consistent relaxed intensity moving forward through all obstacles. They are different in the amounts of obstacles, the timing, and levels of prosperity. Sometimes these differences make us question our path because we know there is not an exact model that is set before us. The reality is there is the same model and in fact people have overcome more obstacles on their ways to accomplishing even greater things than we see in our future.

The main thing in changing from this shall we say victim mentality to one of victor is our gratitude and patience for all that comes our way. We need to keep that in mind most of all as this year comes to a close. Maybe you've been in business this year and invested 30k into your future with no return at all. Let's be thankful for all we've learned, the experience we've gained, and the foundation that is laid better for 2007 than was there in the beginning of 2006. That is what the people who will hit the home runs in 2007 will be focusing on. Be the greatest leader you know. Be the most positive person, the most optimistic person, the most patient person. Be the most grateful person you know and watch what happens in your world.

Chad Schapiro: The Challenge of Success

It is a challenge to succeed. If it were not, I'm sure more people would be successful, but for every person who is enjoying the fruit from the tree of success, many more are examining the roots. They are trying to figure it all out. They are confused and frustrated by what seems to be some strange, complex and elusive secret that must be found if ever success is to be enjoyed.

While most people spend most of their lives struggling to earn a living, a much smaller number seem to have everything going their way. Instead of just earning a living, the smaller group is busily engaged in designing and enjoying a fortune. Everything just seems to work out for them. While the much larger group sits in awe at how life can be so unfair, complicated and unjust."I am a nice person," the man says to himself. "How come this other guy is happy and prosperous, and I'm always struggling?" He asks himself, "I am a good husband, a good father and a good worker. How come nothing seems to work out for me? Life just isn't fair. I'm even smarter and willing to work harder than some of these other people who just seem to have everything going their way," he says as he slumps into the sofa to watch another evening of television. But you see you've got to be more than a good person and a good worker. You've got to become a good planner, and a good dreamer.

You've got to see the future finished in advance. You've got to put in the long hours and put up with the setbacks and the disappointments. You've got to learn to enjoy the process of disciplines and of putting yourself through the paces of doing the uncomfortable until it becomes comfortable. You've got to be prepared and willing to attack the challenges if you want the success because challenges are part of success.

Now that may sound like a pain, but let me tell you that the process of going from average to fortune isn't really all that difficult. Thinking about it is the difficult part. Anticipating all the effort and the changes and the disciplines is far worse in the mind than in reality. I can promise you that the challenges you'll meet on the road to success are far less difficult to deal with than the struggles and the disappointments that come from being average. Do you really like the way things have been going? Can you imagine how much worse it could get if things don't change?

Confronting and overcoming challenges is an exhilarating experience. It does something to feed the soul and the mind. It makes you more than you were before. It strengthens the mental muscles and enables you to become better prepared for the next challenge. As you learn and grow the greatest reward is within yourself. The feelings of improvement and the self-esteem that is developed because you are not settling for average. YOU CAN DO IT!!

Chad Schapiro: Beat Your Old Self

When you decide to make some massive changes you are going to hit the freak out barrier in your inner heart. You need to understand this so you can beat it. The way to beat it is to have a life time commitment to improving your life. We have a life time commitment to bathing why not do the same for this GIGANTIC area of our life.

If we think thoughts that only help us make 50k per year then we need to have different thoughts if we want to make 100k a year. These new thoughts are fine if they are only in the consciousness and in our visions for our future. When we start to get more emotionally involved we hit a freak out barrier and this freaking out makes us run for cover into our old comfort zone. This freaking out comes in the form of doubt, re-evaluating our opportunity, high stress, anxiety, frustration, and anything else that does not sound like any fun.

To beat it...
You want to gain an understanding of what's causing you to freak out. Understand that it is not justified. It is the old stuff holding you back. Decide that you are going to continue to jump on the new thoughts with everything you have. Let them win the tug of war with your old self. Fight it aggressively. If your goals don't scare you somewhat it's probably because you are not doing anything. Choose to water your conscious garden with the proper thoughts. You have the choice whether you feed yourself the same limiting thoughts of the past ignorant states or the new knowledge that is full of the beauty of your new life. You can justify why you have to look at the old mess but will that really help you at all?

Don't look at all the things that can go wrong but rather all the things that can go right. Tell the negative stuff to get out of here. Don't worry about suppressing it, face up to it and beat it down. When you understand why these old ideas are holding you back it will be easier to beat them and to change our future thoughts by focusing on the more positive new desired result.

The way to understand our new life is to study. More understanding will lead to more faith. Faith gives you added strength making you feel magnetic. That magnetism will attract more good things adding speed to your new thoughts. That magnetism will display itself in a peaceful easy feeling throughout you on a daily basis that attracts. Many people try to force it and it often chases the positive things away. We need to relax and stop fighting for what we think is ours and allow our faith that we are going forward to put us at ease. There are no short cuts and no one else needs to do more or less to get you there faster. Put yourself at ease and focus on yourself and your relaxation of moving steadily to your new self.

Study is done through repetition of the basics until they are part of us. Have faith in yourself. You can become and do anything you put your mind to, but it will come with a fight that you can win.

Top 10%

Do they people that are in the top 10% of your chosen field live the lifestyle that you want? When I asked that to myself about the field of home based business I knew the answer was an extremely LOUD YES!!

At one time were those same people not in the industry at all? At one time were those same people at the bottom 10%? The answer to both of those is also a LOUD YES!!

If that is the case than we can for sure be in the top 10% just like them if we grow and work our way there just like they did. We have to do whatever it takes to get there!! Be willing to pay the price, make the sacrifices, and do whatever it takes to get there. That's what they did. Will this happen right away? No....did it for them? The years are going to pass on by anyways why not make sure we end up somewhere we like.

Goal Setting

1. Don't bite off more than you can chew. Instead of saying, "I am going to do 4 deluxes this week!" Instead do something that you feel is possible but will take a consistent effort on your part.

2. Be specific in your timeline and goal. Don't just say, "I am going to sign up 20 people for preferred websites." Instead say what you are going to do in numbers and make sure there is a time line...Like it will be done today, this week, or this month. That way when you feel like not doing it you are reminded of the urgency in your goal.

3. Post your resolutions where you will see them every day. This will keep the resolution in the front of your mind at all times. Instead of forgetting that you are supposed to share the company with these people you will be reminded of your goals. It will help your will beat your desire to do nothing.

4. Find an encouraging person, who you respect, to keep you accountable. The goal sheet is excellent for this as well as your expert. Make sure to fill it out every night or you are making it difficult for anyone to help you.

5. Find a team of people heading in the same direction. You want your dreams and goals to be something you feel is possible and that others are on that journey with you. That is why we are so fortunate to be working together. When fighting for your goals becomes more common than doing nothing you are more than half way there. This is what the trainings can provide for you.

6. Write down a list of all of the benefits that will come if you accomplish this. This will help you see what you will get from accomplishing your resolution. All the benefits!! These will help you through the tough times that are present in any worthwhile goal. They will make those tough times seem super small if you are focused on the results. How will financial freedom feel? Time freedom? Travel? Donating to worthwhile causes and people? Thinking about all of that it's hard not to stay focused.

7. Plan a reward if you accomplish your resolution. It can be anything from small to large. It could be a gold star on a board. A movie, a walk in the park, anything....

Don't put off for tomorrow what you can do today

Procrastination is like a virus. It creeps up on you slowly, drains you of energy, and is difficult to get rid of if your resistance is low. Procrastination is a close relative of incompetence and a first cousin to inefficiency, which is why their marriage is taboo.

These suggestions will help you conquer the virus:

1. Give yourself deadlines. In moderation, pressure motivates. Extreme pressure debilitates. Set appointments, make commitments, write out your goals, and otherwise develop the determination to succeed.

2. Don't duck the difficult problems. Every day we are faced with both difficult and easy tasks. Tackle the difficult ones first so that you can look forward to the easy ones. If you work on the easy ones first, you might expand the time that they take in order to avoid the difficult ones waiting for you. Many people put off difficult or large tasks because they appear too huge to tackle in a reasonable period. They feel that if they start and complete the "large" task at one sitting, it will prevent them from accomplishing any of the other tasks they have to do on that day. The answer to this problem is to break all large or difficult tasks into their smaller subparts. Then, you can do each of the subparts of the larger project over a series of days, if appropriate.

Goals

Clarity accounts for probably 80% of success and happiness. Lack of clarity is probably more responsible for frustration and underachievement than any other single factor. Thats why we say that Success is goals, and all else is commentary. People with clear, written goals, accomplish far more in a shorter period of time than people without them could ever imagine. This is true everywhere and under all circumstances.

The Three Keys to High Achievement
You could even say that the three keys to high achievement are, Clarity, Clarity, Clarity, with regard to your goals. Your success in life will be largely determined by how clear you are about what it is you really, really want. Many of us can take our business to heights we've never dreamed if only we'd becoming clearer about this as a priority. Many times this gets surrounded with other hopes that water down and take valuable resources away from success in this area. Have you heard of the jack of all trades master of none? Many people think it's great to be spread out but the true masters in any area are truly focused, especially during the time of momentum creation.

Write and Rewrite Your Goals
The more you write and rewrite your goals and the more you think about them, the clearer you will become about them. The clearer you are about what you want, the more likely you are to do more and more of the things that are consistent with achieving them. Meanwhile, you will do fewer and fewer of the things that don't help to get the things you really want. We have created a free site to help you in this area
http://forms.myiworldlink.com . Make sure to be consistent with this tool as it's the best in the world for helping people achieve their goals when implemented consistently with whole heart.

Seven Step Process for Achieving Goals
Here, once more, is the simple, seven-step process that you can use to achieve your goals faster and easier than ever before.
First, decide exactly what you want in each area of your life. Be specific! If you are reading this most likely you are involved in business. Most likely your goals should be centered primarily on this area of business with peripheral goals set up that help support this main one as you become a master. This focus is essential. The reason I felt so comfortable committing myself to my business goal first was realizing how the other goals would come together easier after this was accomplished correctly. It's hard to think time, money, and self-esteem would not benefit most of our other goals in some way.
Second, write it down, clearly and in detail, using the forms site is one of the greatest tools the world has ever seen;
Third, set a specific deadline. If it is a large goal, break it down into sub-deadlines and write them down in order. This is why we usually focus on daily, and really focused people have goals per hour;
Fourth, make a list of everything you can think of that you are going to have to do to achieve your goal. As you think of new items, add them to your list;
Fifth, organize the items on your list into a plan by placing them in the proper sequence and priority;
Sixth, take action immediately on the most important thing you can do on your plan. This is very important!
Seventh, do something every day that moves you toward the attainment of one or more of your important goals.

Maintain the momentum! Join the Top 3%
Fewer than three percent of adults have written goals and plans that they work on every single day. When you sit down and write out your goals, you move yourself into the top 3% of people in our society. And you will soon start to get the same results that they do.

Review Your Goals Daily
Study and review your goals every day to be sure they are still your most important goals. You will find yourself adding goals to your list as time passes. You will also find yourself deleting goals that are no longer as important as you once thought. Whatever your goals are, plan them out thoroughly, on the forms site, and work on them every single day. This is the key to making your hopes and dreams a reality.

Awareness and Intuition

Awareness refers to a continuously heightened sensitivity to what is going on in both your internal and your external environment. It has two separate but closely related ways of expressing itself. You must be aware of what is outside you -- aware of the subtle behaviors of the people around you.

In addition, you must be aware of your own reactions and inclinations. It can be as simple as noticing when someone is getting bored, or tired, or stressed. It is recognizing the right and wrong moments for introducing new ideas. It knows when to speak and not to speak, when to act and not to act.

Attentiveness is also the ability to tune into a problem and come up with its essential components. "What's really going wrong here?" That insight provides the basis for envisioning something that will truly work better. Attentiveness means you are open to more information coming in through your eyes, your ears, and your sense of touch -- as well as your kinesthetic sense. It is better known as intuition, or gut feelings. It is how your muscles and the organs of your body react.

Empathy is putting yourself in the other person's shoes. Intuition gives you access to a person's feelings when they are mirrored in your own body. For some reason this is especially useful with negative emotions such as fear, sadness, or doubt.

Effective communicators and leaders are good people-watchers. They look for the little signals that reveal what others are thinking or feeling. An especially important key to people watching is eye contact. It may not be a startling revelation, but people's willingness to make eye contact says a lot about how comfortable they are with themselves and with you.

As you become an educated observer of what is going on around you, you will be able to evaluate your gut reactions from a more informed perspective. You will be able to know the world around you because you know yourself extremely well. How do you know whether your intuition is right or wrong? Well, if you are often mistaken in your intuitive judgments, it is probably because you are being overly safe and overly protective. It is largely a matter of practice, because fears, wishes, negative thoughts, and ego needs can masquerade as intuition. When your ego is involved, it cancels out the gut. Your intuition will often point out possible problems, but your ego just adds to your problems. Many of us have had good intuition in our lives at given times due to being in a place of peace but then times can change easily and those gut feelings can become clouded.

A good way to develop you intuition is to start keeping track of your hunches. Write them down and then see what happens. By monitoring which come true and which do not, you will not only see what your record of accomplishment is, you will learn to recognize how true intuition feels. With practice, you will begin to see how genuinely intuitive feelings carry the most power and conviction. You will learn to recognize your fears and wishes, so you will not confuse them with your actually sixth sense.

There's a story about a very educated English gentleman visiting a great Buddhist master. The holy man poured a cup of tea for the Englishman and kept pouring and pouring until there was tea all over the floor. Finally, the Englishman could not sit silently any longer and asked: "Why are you overfilling the cup?" The Buddhist master replied: "This cup is like your head. It is so full of your own thoughts that nothing else will go into it. You must empty yourself first in order to learn anything new from me."

Attentiveness is a lot like that. In order to be attentive, we need to empty ourselves of other thoughts and set ways of seeing things. When we use our senses to take in all we can about other people, we can much more accurately adjust our behavior to the needs of others. When we are attentive to situations, we have the power to make positive changes for others and ourselves.

4 P's

Perception Is Everything
There are four “Ps” that will enhance your ability to persuade others in both your work and personal life. They are power, positioning, performance, and politeness. And they are all based on perception.

Develop Personal Power
The first “P” is power. The more power and influence that a person perceives that you have, whether real or not, the more likely it is that that person will be persuaded by you to do the things you want them to do. For example, if you appear to be a senior executive, or a wealthy person, people will be much more likely to help you and serve you than they would be if you were perceived to be a lower level employee.

Shape Their Thinking About You
The second “P” is positioning. This refers to the way that other people think about you and talk about you when you are not there. Your positioning in the mind and heart of other people largely determines how open they are to being influenced by you. In everything you do involving other people, you are shaping and influencing their perceptions of you and your positioning in their minds. Think about how you could change the things you say and do so that people think about you in such a way that they are more open to your requests and to helping you achieve your goals.

Be Good At What You Do
The third “P” is performance. This refers to your level of competence and expertise in your area. A person who is highly respected for his or her ability to get results is far more persuasive and influential than a person who only does an average job.

Commit to Excellence
The perception that people have of your performance capabilities exerts an inordinate influence on how they think and feel about you. You should commit yourself to being the very best in your field. Sometimes, a reputation for being excellent at what you do can be so powerful that it alone can make you an extremely persuasive individual in all of your interactions with the people around you. They will accept your advice, be open to your influence and agree with your requests.

Treat People Politely
The fourth “P” of persuasion power is politeness. People do things for two reasons, because they want to and because they have to. When you treat people with kindness, courtesy and respect, you make them want to do things for you. They are motivated to go out of their way to help you solve your problems and accomplish your goals. Being nice to other people satisfies one of the deepest of all subconscious needs, the need to feel important and respected. Whenever you convey this to another person in your conversation, your attitude and your treatment of that person, he or she will be wide open to being persuaded and influenced by you in almost anything you need.

Perception Is Reality
Again, perception is everything. The perception of an individual is his or her reality.People act on the basis of their perceptions of you. If you change their perceptions, you change the way they think and feel about you, and you change the things that they will do for you.

Dream Again!!!

"Far better it is to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs, even though checkered by failure, than to take rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy nor suffer much, because they live in the gray twilight that knows neither victory nor defeat." -- Teddy Roosevelt

Do you remember when you were a child and no dream seemed too big? Some of us thought we would walk on the moon; some dreamed of being a fireman; others imagined stepping to the plate in a big-league game. Every one of us, when we were young, had a common trait - we were dreamers. The world hadn't gotten to us yet to show us that we couldn't possibly achieve what our hearts longed for. And we were yet still years from realizing that in some cases we weren't built for achieving our dream (I realized about my junior year of high school that I was too short and too slow to play professional basketball. The dreamer is always the last to know).

Eventually we started to let our dreams die. People began to tell us that we couldn't do the things we wanted. It was impossible. Responsible people don't pursue their dreams. Settle down, get a job, be dependable. Take care of business, live the mundane, be content.

Do you know what I say to that? That's dumb! It is time to dream again!

Why? Here are just a few reasons:
* Avoid regret. The facts are in, and someday we will all lie on our deathbed looking back through the history of our lives. We will undoubtedly think about what we wished we had done or accomplished. I for one don't want to regret what could have been, what should have been. So I am deciding today to pursue my dreams.

* The world needs people like you to dream of something great and then to pursue it with all of your heart. Maybe your people around you that could be in your sales team have settled into the same ol' same ol'. Shake them up and remind them of how they could really help people if only they would dream!

* Personal and family fulfillment. One of the things that happens when we stop pursuing our dreams is that a little piece of us dies and we become disheartened, if only in that area of our lives. Stepping up and pursuing your dream rekindles that passion and zeal that everyone has the capacity for and lets us experience fulfillment. Having a purpose puts the zip in our step and the zing in our emotions!

* Making the world a better place. All of the great accomplishments that have ever happened began with a person who had a dream. Somebody rebuffed the naysayers and said to himself or herself, "This can be done, and I am the one who will do it." And in many instances they changed the world for the better. It isn't just the Martin Luther King's and the JFK's either. Think of all the people we have never heard of who have started things large and small that help people world-wide every day.

* Leaving a legacy. How will your children remember you? As one who sought all that life had to offer, using your gifts and talents to their fullest extent, leading the family with a zest for life, or as an overweight couch potato who could have been? Our children, neighbors, the world around us need to see that we dream; that we search for something better. They in turn will do the same!

So where do we start? Here are some ideas:
* Reconnect with your dream. Set aside some time to let yourself dream. What have you placed on the backburner in order to live the status quo? Settle on one or two dreams that you can and will pursue. Don't come up with too many. That will only deter you further. Most of the time they will center on your OurGV business first because once that is fully taken care of it gives the resources and time available to pursue other passions.

* Decide that you will do it. This may seem elementary but many people never decide and commit fully to their dream. They simply keep "thinking" about it. Tell others that you are going to do it. Tell everyone and anyone. This puts you on the record as to what you are dreaming about. It makes you accountable. It will help you do it if for no other reason than to avoid embarrassment!

* Develop a step-by-step plan. Use the forms site http://forms.myiworldlink.com to help. This is absolutely essential.
You must sit down and write out a few things:
* A timeline. How long will it take to the end?
* Action steps. Point-by-point what you will do and when you will do them.
* Resources you will need to draw from. What will it take? Who will need to be involved for help or advice?
* An evaluation tool. You need to evaluate from time to time whether you are progressing or not.
* A celebration. Yep, every step along the way. The celebration can be big or small but we must stop and pat ourselves on the back when we are on the proper track.

I have found that there is no better time than now. So, set aside some time today to get started on your dream. Follow the action plan and set your sights for the top of the mountain! You will be glad you did!

The Richest Man In The Valley

A rich landowner named Carl often rode around his vast estate so he could congratulate himself on his great wealth.

One day while riding around his estate on his favorite horse, he saw Hans, an old tenant farmer. Hans was sitting under a tree when Carl rode by.

Hans said, 'I was just thanking God for my food.' Carl protested, 'If that is all I had to eat, I wouldn't feel like giving thanks.' Hans replied, 'God has given me everything I need, and I am thankful for it.' The old farmer added, 'It is strange you should come by today because I had a dream last night. In my dream a voice told me, 'The richest man in the valley will die tonight.' I don't know what it means, but I thought I ought to tell you.'

Carl snorted, 'Dreams are nonsense,' and galloped away, but he could not forget Hans' words: 'The richest man in the valley will die tonight.'

He was obviously the richest man in the valley, so he invited his doctor to his house that evening. Carl told the doctor what Hans had said. After a thorough examination, the doctor told the wealthy landowner, 'Carl, you are as strong and healthy as a horse. There is no way you are going to die tonight.'

Nevertheless, for assurance, the doctor stayed with Carl, and they played cards through the night. The doctor left the next morning and Carl apologized for becoming so upset over the old man's dream.

At about nine o'clock, a messenger arrived at Carl's door. 'What is it?' Carl demanded. The messenger explained, 'It's about old Hans. He died last night in his sleep.'

"My interest is in the future because I am going to spend the rest of my life there." -- Charles F. Kettering

One of the biggest hindrances to people's achievement of success is that they spend too much time on two areas they shouldn't be in: The Past and the Present. We need not spend much time in the past because the past is, well, the past, right? There is nothing you can do about it but learn from it, and you learn for your future. The Present? Yes, we should spend our time on the present only in that we do so to further our future. Even our time and energy spent for the present is to create for ourselves the future. Yes, we should enjoy the present, but build for the future. This is where successful people live. This is where your dreams are! This is the field of accomplishment. This is the arena of satisfaction. Focus there. Learn from your past, enjoy your present, but put your interest in the future!

If a man is right, his world will be right.

There is a great little story about a minister who, one Saturday morning was trying to prepare his sermon under difficult conditions. His wife was out shopping. It was a rainy day and his young son was restless and bored, with nothing to do. Finally, in desperation, the minister picked up an old magazine and thumbed through it until he came to a large brightly colored picture. It showed a map of the world.

He tore the page from the magazine, ripped it into little bits and threw the scraps all over the living room floor with the words:"Johnny, if you can put this all together, I'll give you a quarter."

The preacher thought this would take Johnny most of the morning. But within ten minutes there was a knock on the door. It was his son with the completed puzzle. The minister was amazed to see Johnny finished so soon, with the pieces of paper neatly arranged and the map of the world back in order.

"Son, how did you get that done so fast?" the preacher asked.

"Oh," said Johnny, "it was easy. On the other side there was a picture of a man. I just put a piece of paper on the botom, put the picture of the man together, put a piece of paper on top, and then turned it over. I figured if I got the man right, the world would be right."

When we are right we can change our world as well!

Change Your World First

Every adversity has the seed of an equal or greater benefit. We are the masters of our future because we are the masters of our attitude.

If there is one thing I have learned and continue to work on each day its that statement of controlling my attitude. I have learned to love my work because I realize it is not the work but my attitude that helps create that enjoyment.

When you help people enjoy their work each day you've given them a gift most take for granted. People work each day hours and hours a day hating what they do. Tolerating it even though their is typically no benefit besides money to pay the bills. When we can help people enjoy what they do it helps all other areas of their lives. Most of us haven't found the situation where we could combine our work with the two big heart areas inherent in each one of us, the will to love other people, and the desire to serve others. In our company we have it all!!!! When we focus on these things we start to be a lot more positive. When we are more positive we attract even greater things into our lives. We attract what we are.

Does that mean we will always be totally excited with where we are and what we are doing? No...But the key is to develop "inspired dissatisfaction" to help create the things you really want. This inspired dissatisfaction allows you to still be positive in tough situations and allows for better things to be attracted and thus change that situation sooner than later.

Some keys to changing your world:

  • A positive mental attitude
  • Definiteness of purpose
  • Going that extra mile
  • Accurate thinking
  • Self-discipline
  • Applied faith
  • A pleasing personality
  • Enthusiasm
  • Controlled attention
  • Teamwork
  • Learning from defeat
  • Budgeting time and money properly
  • Maintaining sound physical and mental health

Evander Holyfield

I was fortunate to meet the 4 time world champion boxer Evander Holyfield this morning. He has a big comeback that he is attempting to make. He had goals he had set to reach when he was younger. He thinks back to when he had nothing to remind himself of what he should be thankful for now. When he was a diamond but was covered in dust and no one knew it.

When he was 8 yrs. old he started boxing. The coach told him he could be the heavyweight champion of the world. He replied,"I am only 8 years old, how can I be the champion?". The trainer replied,"You won't always be 8." He knew he only weighed 65 lbs. The trainer said,"You won't only weigh 65 lbs.". After he went home and asked his mom, she said yes, if you listen, follow directions, and don't quit.

His mom is his hero although he did not realize that at first because she was always disciplining him. Keeping him focused on his goals. He lost his first match and wanted to quit, his mom said she did not raise a quitter, and sent him back. The third try he finally beat him. He now realizes that with working harder he can overcome all challenges.

He is coming back now at such a older age because he wants to be in control of his life not let the critics control it. He now has to get up at 5 o'clock in the morning and workout when no one is watching. This is the same workout pattern he did when there was no food on the table like in the beginning when he was broke. He now donates time and money to help those people that are less fortunate. If it wasn't for the people believing in him when he had nothing he would not be here.

We need someone to believe in us. I know I believe in you probably more than you believe in yourself. You may say,"You don't even know me". I know that you are only where you are now but you will not always be here. I know you are not perfect but none of us are. I know that everyone who has ever been successful had to beat the same demons of self-doubt. With that in mind I know that you can do anything that you want to with your life. That does not mean it will be easy, but it never was intended to be.

Now that we know where you are going and what you are going to be when you "grow up" what about everyone else? Most don't have people in their lives that believe in them and that's what we can give the world through OurGV. That is the gift you have to share.

Tune Into Success

Absolutely no one can underestimate the power of the mind and its role in our success! It is imperative to keep our minds right and on the right track if we are to achieve balanced success in our career, finances, health, emotions, relationships and spiritual lives. The analogy I would like to use here is one of a radio station. For example, there may be a "Success" station. But the only way you can hear a radio station is to be tuned into it. Even a little off and you can't get the full effect.

The same is true with our mind and success. If our minds and our thoughts get sidetracked, our success will get sidetracked. As our minds stay tuned to "success" our bodies will then carry out our success and we will begin to experience abundance! So here are some ways to keep tuned into success!Use your innate ability to decide and choose. One of the things that separate us from the animals is that we live not by instinct, but by choice. Constantly flexing that muscle of choice builds it up and keeps us on track for success. It is like working out. The more we do, the stronger we get. The more "fit" we get. Want to keep your mind tuned for success? Keep it healthy by making good choices and decisions on a regular basis. For example, do you have a bad habit? Then flex your mind muscle and choose to change - today. If you choose to stay the same way (and those are the only two alternatives) you will have just chosen to tune your mind to a different station than "success."

Put good stuff into your brain. There are lots of things that want to work their way into our minds (and eventually work themselves out again in our actions). There will be lots that we just get from walking around all day. But what about what we put in on purpose? We can choose to put good stuff in on a regular basis. Do you take time each day to put good things into your mind, to tune into success? Here are two things to consider when you are choosing what to put into your mind: First, is it positive? Will it build you up or tear you down? Will it make you a better person, or lesser? Will you grow from it or not? Will it tune you to success or not? Secondly, Will it move you toward your goals in the areas of your life that you want to see success and abundance in?

Keep the junk out. Like I mentioned above, there will always be junk floating around, like a fellow employee who gripes all the time. But what surprises me is how many people who want success, actually willfully choose to put junk into their minds and then expect to be tuned into success. Here are some thoughts on this: First, evaluate everything that you put into your mind. Evaluate what you read, listen to and watch. We live in a fast-paced world and we have little time. Why then would we spend our precious time putting junk into our minds? Does what you read, listen to and watch move you toward your goals or away from them? It is a simple question, really. At least most of the time.

Eat right and exercise. That's right. The way we eat and the amount of exercise we get goes a long way toward our mind's ability to tune into success. Put the right foods into your body and the brain responds. Exercise on a regular basis and the body releases chemicals that literally ignite your brain for success!Hope these thoughts help you to get going and keep your mind tuned into success. Put them into practice and soon you'll be dialed into success and abundance.

Receptive to Success

Have you ever cooked pancakes before? I can barely cook anything but I can cook some pancakes. Nothing fancy but they are good and people at least eat them. One time I thought I would get a little fancier and try and cook up some waffles with one of those waffle irons. When I carefully made up the batter just like usual and put in into the waffle thing I was getting ready for a new masterpiece. All of a sudden I started smelling smoke and seeing it come out of the iron thing. It was a mess. All of the batter had burnt to the iron and after cleaning for what seemed like hours I was finally able to be at stage 0 where I had started. Little did I know that the waffle recipe called for more oil. Something as simple but necessary as that made my next experience a success. Guess what......

My business was the exact same. I had been thinking I knew how to do it and and what time things should happen. Little did I know I was missing incredible simple but necessary steps to the recipe that were costing me success. I now see others doing these mistakes all the time. Feeling like they know how to do it....feeling like the steps should not take as long as they do to complete.

There are 3 different kinds of reactions when learning new information. Figure out where you fall in this list.
1. Receptive. These are the people that are agreeing with everything they are reading even now. They agree with everything, and really enjoy the fact that most of them have full bank accounts or are on their way to having full bank accounts. You tell them to do the checklist and they do it. Go to all the trainings possible and they are there. Don't be a sparkler and fizzle out and they are long term for life in the business. Talk to people, be positive, get leads, put a list of non-profits together, do your goal sheets, and everything else they do it and enjoy the direction given.

2. Reluctant. Their first tendency is to say no but slowly but surely they open up and do what needs to be done. You try and tell them something they are doing wrong and they want to defend their actions. They don't succeed much on their own but when they do they have a selective memory and recall that they are right. They convince themselves that they are right most of the time, which makes it harder for them to be open with new information.

3. Rebellious. The rebellious folks are probably not reading this at all because they don't need to learn anything that I have to say. So we won't spend much time talking about them...but I think you get the idea.

I have decided to be as receptive to results and values that I choose to embrace in my life. Kind of like a picket fence. It serves as a boundary to my mind. It is not some impenetrable fortress that cannot be entered but more of a line that will not be crossed unless I choose to open the gate. I will open the gate freely to anything that will help make my area nicer and more enjoyable.

This Applies To All Of Us In All We Do

Written by a former child Author Unknown

A message every adult should read, because children are watching you and doing as you do, not as you say.

When you thought I wasn't looking, I saw you hang my first painting on the refrigerator and I immediately wanted to paint another one.

When you thought I wasn't looking I saw you feed a stray cat, and I learned that it was good to be kind to animals.

When you thought I wasn't looking, I saw you make my favorite cake for me and I learned that the little things can be the special things in life.

When you thought I wasn't looking I heard you say a prayer, and I knew there is a Creator I could always talk to and I learned to trust in the Creator of the world.

When you thought I wasn't looking, I saw you make a meal and take it to a friend who was sick, and I learned that we all have to help take care of each other.

When you thought I wasn't looking, I saw you give of your time and money to help people who had nothing and I learned that those who have something should give to those who don't.

When you thought I wasn't looking, I saw you take care of our house and everyone in it and I learned we have to take care of what we are given.

When you thought I wasn't looking, I saw how you handled your responsibilities, even when you didn't feel good and I learned that I would have to be responsible when I grow up.

When you thought I wasn't looking, I saw tears come from your eyes and I learned that sometimes things hurt, but it's alright to cry.

When you thought I wasn't looking, I saw that you cared and I wanted to be everything that I could be.

When you thought I wasn't looking, I learned most of life's lessons that I need to know to be a good and productive person when I grow up.

When you thought I wasn't looking, I looked at you and wanted to say, 'Thanks for all the things I saw when you thought I wasn't looking.'

Each of us (parent, grandparent, aunt, uncle, teacher or friend) influences the life of a child. How will you touch the life of someone today?

Thoughts Lead To Actions

We need to act if we are going to be successful! Yet, our success starts long before our actions. In fact, our success begins in our thoughts. The process is that thoughts become actions and actions produce results. So the equation starts with the thoughts. So the key to success is to start with and control the thoughts that we have. Good thoughts become good actions become good results. But there is this predicament we have as humans. It is this "battle" we have with our thoughts. Thoughts of depression, negative thoughts, thoughts of fear etc constantly creep into our minds and cause us to act in certain ways that are going to produce the opposite of the kind we want that will produce success. So what can we do to win the battle with thoughts? Here are a few main points. Apply these immediately and then constantly and you will be on your way to winning the thought battle.

Guard your mind. Pretend that behind that forehead of yours is a very precious thing – your mind – because it is precious. If you had a storehouse of gold in your house, you would hire an armed guard to stand watch and keep all the bad guys out. Yet, many of us let any old ting come into our minds. We need to keep the bad thoughts, the negative thoughts O-U-T! Now when I say this, I mean both the ones that start in our heads and the ones that come from external sources.

Proactively place good thoughts in your head. Just like a garden, where you weed, or pull the bad stuff out, and plant, put the good stuff in, so we do the same thing with our thoughts. Buy tapes and music that will produce good, happy thoughts in your head! Watch TV programs and videos that put good thoughts in your head!

Avoid the naysayers. They are all around you. You work with them, you live near them – some are even in your family! Whatever you do, do not let them affect you with their negative thoughts. Spend as little time as you can with them (unless it is your spouse or kids – then you need counseling!)

Act on the positive thoughts that you do have. When a positive thought comes into your head, act on it! This will begin to produce a "bridge" between what you think and how you act! This will then make that transition even easier as time goes by!

Four key ideas to win the thought battle:
Guard your mind.
Proactively place good thoughts in your head.
Avoid the naysayers.
Act on the positive thoughts that you do have.

Discipline and Loyalty

We live in a world where these two great words -- discipline and loyalty are becoming meaningless. Does this mean that they are worthless? The exact opposite, they are becoming priceless qualities because they are so hard to develop in the first place. And should you be one of the fortunate few who has caught the vision, your battle has just begun because the greatest battle is to keep consistent and true when people are slipping around us in all areas of life.

Discipline is that great quality few people use that enables them to be constructively busy all the time. Even in discouragement and defeat, discipline will rescue you and bring you to a new place to keep constructively busy while you forget about doubt, worry and self-pity. If only we all would realize the absolute necessity of discipline and the amounts of success can be obtained by growing this trait.

Most people think that loyalty is to a thing or to a person when actually it is really to one's own self. Some think that it is to a goal or an objective, but again it is to one's own convictions. What are your goals, what are your dreams, who did you promise to remain solid to through thick and thin. In the end these were all goals and promises about your life. If loyalty has to be earned then it is deserved and is solid, more than emotional based on a temporary feeling. Loyalty is the character of a person who has given himself the task before him and he will always realize that out of a loyal heart will bring all areas of success and growth.

You Are The Doctor

Three Keys to Building Relationships
Top sales professionals see themselves as "Doctors of Selling." They see themselves as professionals, well educated, acting in their "patient's" best interest, and bound by a high code of ethics. The medical process is the same everywhere. Whenever you go to any doctor, of any kind, for any condition, he will follow the three part sequence of examination, diagnosis and prescription.

Begin With a Thorough Examination
Just as a medical professional would never think of treating you without following these three steps in order, you as a doctor of selling, would never allow a customer to force you to sell without your going through your three stages as well. This is as applicable to non-profits, merchants, customers, and new affiliates. In the examination phase, you ask excellent questions, carefully prepared, in sequence, which are geared to give you a thorough knowledge of the patient's condition, or the prospect's situation.

Diagnose the Customer's Need Accurately
The second phase is that of diagnosis. In the diagnosis phase with a prospect, you would repeat back the results of your examination and double check to be sure that the symptoms that you had detected were the real symptoms being experienced by the patient. You would ask additional questions to confirm and corroborate. You and the patient would mutually agree that this diagnosis seems to be an accurate description of the condition or problem.

Make the Right Prescription
Once this mutual agreement has been reached, that a treatable condition exists and that you have identified it accurately, you can move on to phase three. This is the prescription phase, where you show the patient (customer) that our company is the best available treatment, taking all the factors of the patient's situation into consideration for the ailment that you have diagnosed. You show that, on balance, what you are suggesting is the best of all possible solutions. Professionals who sell in the way that doctors treat patients find that their sales activities proceed far more smoothly and result in better sales in less time.

Adaptability

It is important that you learn to vary your presentation, to vary your pace, to vary your language based on the type of people you are speaking to.

I mean, if you're calling on somebody who's a bottom-line, time-disciplined, fact-oriented, busy, results-oriented individual, are you going to go in, spend ten or fifteen minutes "chit-chatting" or socializing trying to get to know that person? Obviously not!

If you're calling on somebody who is a very friendly, outgoing person who likes to talk about sports and family and just various things about business and wants to get to know somebody first and you walk in and bottom-line everything with little or no social talk, do you think that might irritate that person? Definitely!

Therefore, you have to size people up and get on their wavelength to create chemistry so that person will say, "Hey, you're the type of person I want to do deal with on a long-term basis." This whole approach is called adaptability - your ability to change your approach, to change your strategy, depending on the situation or the person you are dealing with. That's how you really connect with people quicker, deeper, and longer.

Hanging Lake

You can learn a lot about life by hiking in the mountains. I recently hiked the Hanging Lake trail in the rugged Hanging Lake wilderness area. Hanging lake is a small lake that sits between two high mountain peaks at about 9000 feet. The path begins as an easy, relatively flat stroll through a beautiful pine forest. After about 10 minutes, however, it turns right and heads up a narrow, steep canyon just under 3 miles to the lake. The trail is steep and rocky, rising over 2700 feet.

As I hiked up the path, I was struck with the many similarities between a mountain hike and our journey to success. Here are a few simple lessons we can learn:

Plan ahead. When you are on a trail, you become more conscious of your footing. I noticed that my eyes typically rested at a point in the trail about 13 steps ahead of my feet. In other words, my eyes viewed the terrain ahead and sent signals to my brain telling my feet exactly where to step for the next 13 steps! I was amazed that my brain could keep track of so much information and future planning, without taking a misstep. Your brain is your most valuable asset. You can use it to look ahead and plan your goals and activities much farther in the future than you might think.

When you encounter obstacles, pay attention and adjust. When the trail became steep and rocky, my eyes focused much closer, 3 or 4 steps ahead. Sometimes I had to stop altogether to make sure I was on the right path, or to climb over a large bolder. Similarly, on our path to success, we will encounter obstacles. This is the time to pay close attention to what we are doing and make adjustments when necessary. Your finest moments will probably not happen when things are sailing smoothly, but when you appropriately handle a difficult challenge.

Goals keep you going when you're tired. Near the top of my journey, I began breathing harder and harder as the altitude and strain began to get the better of me. I noticed that my rest stops became more frequent and many times I considered turning around and calling it a day. But I kept thinking about the lake. I had never seen Hanging lake and I was anticipating a spectacular view at the top. I had also told several others that I was hiking to Hanging lake. I couldn't imagine facing them and admitting that I had turned around without seeing the lake. So I kept moving until I reached the top. That is the power of a well-set goal. It keeps you going when you want to quit.

Everyone moves at their own pace. Several times on the trail, I passed people who were moving more slowly. Others, who hiked much more rapidly than I, passed me. But, ALL of those who persisted, eventually reached the top. So it is in life: our speed is not as important as our direction.

You reach your objective by taking one step after another. After enjoying the beautiful lake and magnificent vista at the top, I began my decent. I could see the end of the canyon far below, and was amazed at how far and high I had traveled to arrive at my destination. How had I accomplished such an amazing feat, I asked myself. The answer, of course, is: one step at a time. That is how anything worthwhile in life is accomplished. Often we become daunted by the enormity of the task at hand. Forget about that and just take a step, and then another. Just keep moving and, before you know it, you will look back and be amazed at your progress.

Trust In Your Ability...and Don't Waver

When he was two years old, this adopted child of two college professors suddenly and inexplicably stopped growing, and his health started to fail. A team of doctors gave him six months to live after they diagnosed him as suffering from a rare disease that inhibits digestion and nutrients in food. Intravenous feedings of vitamins and supplements allowed him to regain his strength, but his growth was permanently stunted.

Confined to hospitals for long periods of time, until the age of nine, he quietly plotted his revenge on the kids who taunted him and called him "peanut."He recalled many years later that subconsciously "the whole experience made me want to succeed at something athletic." Sometimes his sister, Susan, went ice skating at the local rink, and he would go along to watch. There he stood, a frail, undergrown kid, with a feeding tube inserted through his nose and down into his stomach. When he wasn't using it, one end of the tube was taped behind his ear.

One day, as he watched his sister whirl around the ice, he turned to his parents and said, "You know, I think I'd like to try ice skating." Talk about two adults, looking at their life-threatened child, with glances that were beyond belief! Well, he tried it and he loved it, and he went at it with a passion. Here was something fun at which he could excel, where height and weight weren't important. During his medical checkup the following year, the doctors were startled to discover that he had actually started growing again. It was too late for him to reach normal size, but neither he nor his family cared. He was recovering and succeeding. He believed in his dream, although he had little else to hang on to. None of the kids taunt him and tease him today. Instead, they all cheer and rush to get his autograph. He has just completed another dazzling performance on the world professional ice skating tour, with a long string of triple jumps, complicated maneuvers, and athletic moves, capped off with a racing front flip that brought him to a sudden stop inches from the audience. Although he has retired from professional skating, he remains a coach, mentor and commentator revered by everyone in winter sports.

At five feet three inches and 115 pounds of pure muscle and electrifying energy, former Olympic gold medal figure skating champion, Scott Hamilton stands as tall and as proud as any winner. Scott's size didn't limit his faith and reach. Don't let doubts and critics limit yours. This doesn't mean that you'll close almost every sale or get promoted in record time. Scott Hamilton certainly didn't hit every triple-axle jump he ever attempted, especially during the initial learning phase. Success in developing any skill requires a basic trust in your ability that should never be allowed to waver.

LIVE WITH PASSION

Success-Progressive steps towards a worthwhile goal.

Most people don't stick with it long enough to attain their goals.

Certainty. Know where you are going so firmly that people start to take you seriously. People don't question someone as often that has certainty. Focus on the little successes so that certainty gets built up over time.

The opposite of courage is conformity. Why are most people trying to act like everyone else when stats show the majority is financially frustrated.

Most are yearning for some coaching and don't have it. You and I can introduce them to OurGV and change lives. It may take years of learning to fuel you forever, and to the point that you can power up others. Make sure to feed your mind, heart, and soul with that stuff that will help us. We become what we think about.

Something that creeps into your mind that is negative just let it roll out as fast as it came in.

If I could share one thing with you it would be the mentality of gratefulness. Be thankful for the breath you have. Feelings of gratitude help attract more into your life. It allows you not to take the things, people, and lives we all now have.

Passion fuels everything. LIVE WITH PASSION!!!

Are you the Red Cross?

We often need to re-commit to the game. We often get excited about the game of life then when we find out it's tough we wimper away backwards. We often look to the outside for the secrets but they are really internal. When I really committed to myself and not blaming others is when success started coming into my life. In the book "Think and Grow" it talks about perseverance until success and then you'll get it so fast and seemingly effortlessly you'll wonder where it had been hiding. That is exactly what happened to me. I just needed to get to the law of compounding where other people's efforts started to compound my income. To deserve those great people I had to grow myself. I had to ask myself some tough question and forge through with the answer not taking the easy way out. I wasn't dis-couraged anymore and started working in my courage. Most of us know what we need to do but we don't act in our true courage to do those things.

I stopped giving power to my past and started to focus on the potential of my present and future. Again...My courage was coming out. I started not living out of pure motivation and working out of the ease of who I am really capable of being. I stopped "trying" to make myself a success and started loving living out of the best I could be in the present moment. I allowed myself to have fun in the business. A relaxed intensity with love pouring out from me.

I knew that regardless of product I had to learn how to connect with people. I had to connect to help them which in turn would help me. People know that I can empathsize with their problems but not to the point where they become my own. That allows us both to know that I can tell them how I see it and the ways to fix it. I am not the Red Cross, I am there to help people help themselves not to do it for them.

More heart than talent!!

Easy to do...Easy not to

People often ask me how I became successful in that five-year period of time while many of the people I knew did not. The answer is simple: The things I found to be easy to do, they found to be easy not to do. I found it easy to set the goals that could change my life. They found it easy not to. I found it easy to read the books that could affect my thinking and my ideas. They found that easy not to. I found it easy to attend the classes and the seminars, and to get around other successful people. They said it probably really wouldn't matter. If I had to sum it up, I would say what I found to be easy to do, they found to be easy not to do. Five years later, I was a millionaire and they are all still blaming the economy, the government, and company policies, yet they neglected to do the basic, easy things.

You are going to be somewhere five years from now. You can find it easy to go to trainings, or not. Easy to do your goal sheets every night, or not. Easy to get your numbers up, or not. Easy to study the coaching site, or not. Five years from now will come one way or the other. Why would some not do well and others have more success than they could've dreamed of.

In fact, the primary reason most people are not doing as well as they could and should, can be summed up in a single word: neglect.

It is not the lack of money - banks are full of money. It is not the lack of opportunity - America, and much of the free World, continues to offer the most unprecedented and abundant opportunities in the last six thousand years of recorded history. It is not the lack of books – libraries are full of books - and they are free! It is not the schools - the classrooms are full of good teachers. We have plenty of ministers, leaders, counselors and advisors.

Everything we would ever need to become rich and powerful and sophisticated is within our reach. The major reason that so few take advantage of all that we have is simply neglect.

Neglect is like an infection. Left unchecked it will spread throughout our entire system of disciplines and eventually lead to a complete breakdown of a potentially joy-filled and prosperous human life. Not doing the things we know we should do causes us to feel guilty and guilt leads to an erosion of self-confidence. As our self-confidence diminishes, so does the level of our activity. And as our activity diminishes, our results inevitably decline. And as our results suffer, our attitude begins to weaken. And as our attitude begins the slow shift from positive to negative, our self-confidence diminishes even more... and on and on it goes.

Why not do what we should do which will cause us to feel more deserving, thus raising our self-confidence. As our self-confidence improves, so does the level of our activity. And as our activity increases, or results will inevitably go up. As our results improve, our attitude soars even higher. As our attitude changes from the negative to the positive, our self-confidence will go up even more....and on and on it goes!!!!!

So my suggestion is that when giving the choice of "easy to" and "easy not to" that you do not neglect to do the simple, basic, "easy"; but potentially life-changing activities and disciplines.

Courage

One way to get the courage to begin, from which everything else flows, is to plan and prepare thoroughly in advance. Set clear goals or objectives; then gather information. Read and research the site and materials. Write out detailed plans of action, and take the first step. Keep consistent with the goal sheets.

The second kind of courage is the courage to endure, to persist, to stay at it once you have begun. Persistence is a form of courageous patience, and it is one of the rarest types of courage. Courageous patience is the ability to stand firm after you have taken action and before you get any feedback or results from your action. When you plan your work and work your plan through with persistence, even in the face of disappointment and unexpected setbacks, you will build and develop the quality of courage within you.

The third type of courage is the courage to conquer worry — a form of negative goal setting. When you worry, you are dwelling upon, talking about, and vividly imagining exactly what you don’t want to happen. The great tragedy is that even if the situation you are worrying about does not materialize, your health and your emotions will suffer just the same. And the fact is that most of the things that people worry about never happen.

The only real antidote to worry is purposeful action toward a predetermined goal or solution. When you get by doing something to resolve your problem, you will not have the time or the mental capacity to worry. And before you know it, your worrisome situation will have been resolved.

Shake It Up

1. Be open to opportunity. We've been programmed to be closed. That there is a certain way to do things. We have to be open to busting out of that norm. The more you are open to who can join your business the more you will attempt to share it with them. Keep aggressive, see the opportunity everywhere. There is no way to tell how many non-profits, merchants, and other affiliates a person may be able to refer you to. The key to us is not whether they are there or not but whether we are open to the opportunities that are standing right in front of us on a daily basis.

Write down who you surround yourself with and then write down the character traits they have. Does this help us or harm us? Most likely we have to cut back some of the relationships that are not contributing to our success.

2. Fear of rejection. There is so much inside of you but it won't come out by your successes but rather from attempting, often failing, and growing forward by what you've learned. With that in mind we must embrace rejection as another step in our journey upwards. The worst thing that could happen by you attempting to recruit someone who says no is that they don't work in your team. Aren't they already not in your team? What is the best thing that could happen?

3. Power of delayed gratification. We need to develop our long-term vision. We are playing for the big rewards at the end of the game. We can set up smaller rewards along the way but must keep in mind when we are truly looking for the payoff. Most of us get frustrated fast because we want to be gratified now. That is a flaw in our thinking and actually pulling us off the success path we need to be on to climb to where we'd love to be. We will climb higher by our consistent healthy attitude helping us earn more. This attitude is found in a state of gratitude and optimism. I'm sure we can all see that feeling frustrated because we are not getting gratified now and to the levels we'd like would only cause us to ruin the gains we are trying to make each moment.

4. Invest more in your business. How you may ask? Look carefully what you put your money into now. Write it down each day and see where you can save money from doing dumb things.

5. Look at the qualities of those you admire and work on developing those qualities in yourself. We will attract who we are. Keep the repetition of your concepts and attitudes. As soon as your people copy those mannerisms is when you've said them enough. First you must have them in you.
It may feel wierd to use others as role models but it will feel more comfortable as you do it more.

2 keys

Your Emotions Are Contagious
The first power you can develop is enthusiasm. The more excited you are about accomplishing something that is important to you, the more excited others will be about helping you to do it. The fact is that emotions are contagious. The more passion you have for your life and your activities, the more charisma you will possess, and the more cooperation you will gain from others. Every great man or woman has been totally committed to a noble cause and, as a result, has attracted the support and encouragement of others in many cases, thousands or millions of others. How consistently passionate are you?

Be an expert asap
The second personality power that you can develop is expertise, or competence. The more knowledgeable you are perceived to be in the business, the more charisma you will have among those who respect and admire that knowledge because of the impact it can have on their lives. This is also the power of excellence, of being recognized by others as an outstanding performer in OurGV. Men and women who do their jobs extremely well and who are recognized for the quality of their work are those who naturally attract the help and support of others. They have charisma.

Hit Those Goals

We need to be aware of where we are in relation to our goals. Look at your short term goals. If you have not quite hit them for the week how should you be working compared to if they were already accomplished? How would you want your team to work in that given situation?

We need to manage ourselves first before we can hope to have someone else even work with us.

We need a vision first of where we want to be in our lives. A goal becomes a vision with a date on it. When we find ourself falling off the pathway of our goals we need to get back to the joy of our vision. What does that feel like to have that vision come true? What would that vision mean to others? Really remind yourself of the benefits for accomplishing your vision. That is the way to recommit and continue on the path. We can go up and down but we must continue to rise over the long term. It is a lot easier to stay on the path if we have a more detailed plan. Maybe we are a little too loose which helps us forget. Especially at the beginning until better habits are formed we need to immerse ourselves and be soooo detailed that it's hard to do fall off.

Again...the reason this is so important is because if we can not manage ourselves we will not be able to help someone else. If we can't help someone else that is why they are not in our team.

We often pick a time to get a goal accomplished and it doesn't happen. Don't worry every goal and idea has a gestation period. Maybe it just takes longer than you had planned. When does a flower bloom? All things have sowing periods before we reap. We all have been discouraged by missing goals and had to forge on keeping our attitudes up. Again remind yourself what you'd want your team to do if they were in that given situation. If you don't have a team it's probably because you are not managing yourself first.

To be interesting to other people be interested in them. Give to them in heart, love, listening, and anything else you can.

Reward yourself along the way in proportion to the accomplishment.

The Law Of Abundance

The Law of Abundance- there is ample money for everyone who knows how to acquire it and keep it. We live in an abundant universe in which there is sufficient money for all who really want it and are willing obey the laws governing its acquisition.

You Can Have All You Want
There is plenty of money available to you. There is no real shortage. You can have virtually all you really want and need. We live in a generous universe and we are surrounded on all sides by blessings and opportunities to acquire all we truly desire. Your attitude, of either abundance or scarcity toward money, will have a major impact on whether you become rich or not.

Make a Decision
The first corollary of the Law of Abundance says that, “People become wealthy because they decide to become wealthy.” They become wealthy because they believe they have the ability to become wealthy. Because they believe this completely, they act accordingly. They consistently take the necessary actions that turn their beliefs into realities. And you can always tell what your beliefs really are by looking at your actions. There is no other way. The second corollary of this law says: “People are poor because they have not yet decided to become rich.”

Examine Your Own Thinking

In the book, The Instant Millionaire, by Mark Fisher, the old millionaire asks the boy who has sought his advice about becoming a millionaire, “Why aren’t you rich already?” This is an important question to ask yourself. However you answer this question will reveal a lot about yourself. Your answers will expose your self-limiting beliefs, your doubts, your fears, your excuses, your rationalizations and your justifications.

Review Your Reasons
Why aren’t you rich already? Write down all the reasons you can think of. Go over your answers one by one with someone who knows you well and ask them for their opinion. You may be surprised to find that your reasons are mostly excuses that you have fallen in love with. Whatever your reasons or excuses, you can now get rid of them. The world is full of hundreds and thousands of people who have had far more difficulties to overcome than you could ever imagine, and they’ve gone on to be successful anyway. So can you.

If you don't like change you won't like being left in the dust even more.

If It Is To Be It Is Up To Me

One of the first things successful people realize is the old adage, "if it is to be, it is up to me." That is, for you, the fact that your success and your course is up to you. This doesn't mean that you do it all alone. It simply means that you take responsibility for your life and your career.Too many people today look at opportunity and figure it is up to someone else to make sure they get it. They look at financial security and hope that the government will make sure they live safely in retirement or in case of disability. They wait and wait, figuring that it is up to someone else. And then the wait is over, and it is too late to do anything. Their life is over and they are filled with regret.

This isn't true for you however. You know that you must take responsibility for your life. It is up to you.The fact is that nobody else is going to do it for you. You must do it yourself.

Now, some people may say, "That's a lot of responsibility." Friends, that is the best news you can ever hear. You get to choose your life. Hundreds of millions of people all around this world would give anything to live in the situation you do just for the chance to have the opportunity to take control of their destiny. "It is up to you" is a great blessing!

Here's why:

1. You get to chart your own destiny. Maybe you want to have a net worth of $100 million. That's okay too. The idea is that you get to choose. You can do whatever you like. Different people have different dreams and they should live them accordingly.

2. You can reap what you sow. Sleep in and go to work late and reap the return. Or get up early and outwork the others and earn a greater return. Place your capital at risk and earn a return or place it at greater risk and perhaps reap a greater return. You decide what you will sow and thus what you will reap.

3. No one else can stop you from getting your dream. Yes, there will always be things that come up and people who may not like what you are doing, but you can just move on and chart your own course. There is great freedom in that.

4. You experience the joy of self-determination. There is no greater pride than knowing you set your mind on something and accomplished it. Those who live with a victim mentality never get to experience the joy of accomplishment because they are always waiting for someone else to come to the rescue. Those who take responsibility get to live the joy of seeing a job well done.

Let me ask you a question: Where will you be in 5 years? 10 years? Or 25 years? Do you know? Do you have an idea? Have you ever dreamed about it or set a goal for it? Are you willing to take responsibility and recognize that, "It is up to you?"

You will be wherever you decide to be in those timeframes. You decide. It is up to you.

And that is very exciting!

Don't Quit

When things go wrong as they sometimes will,
When the road you're trudging seems all uphill.

When the funds are low and the debts are high,
And you want to smile but you have to sigh.

When care is pressing you down a bit,
Rest if you must, but don't you quit.

Life is queer with its twists and turns,
As everyone of us sometimes learns.

And many a fellow turns about,
When he might have won had he stuck it out.

Don't give up though the pace seems slow,
You may succeed with another blow.

Often the goal is nearer than,
It seems to a faint and faltering man.

Often the struggler has given up,
When he might have captured the victor's cup.

And he learned too late when the night came down,
How close he was to the golden crown.

Success is failure turned inside out,
The silver tint of the clouds of doubt.

And you never can tell how close you are,
It may be near when it seems afar.

So stick to the fight when you're hardest hit,
It's when things seem worst that you mustn't quit.
