Change It

Whatever problem you seem to be encountering we need to change it around the same way. That problem is centered around our actions which are created ultimately by our beliefs and thinking. We have to change our old thinking, push the negative thoughts away. Replace them with good things by learning and focusing on new ideas. Once the beliefs are solid the right action must be put in to achieve the desired result. We need to take this action over and over so it becomes our new routine.

Many people focus in on a lot of different things. What is most important to you at this time? You may have to get rid of some good things in order to get your best.

People need to be reminded more than they need to be instructed.

"A river without banks is just a giant puddle."-Don Shula

The water in the river is symbolic in this analogy of our dreams. We say, "I have all sorts of water, but it just isn't going anywhere. It looks like a big puddle!" That is because we have to channel our dreams in the right direction! We need some banks, some constraints that are pointed toward where it is that we want to go. The banks are discipline. Discipline keeps us within the parameters our priorities, doing what it is that we need to do in order to fulfill our life purpose. The banks also keep us from going where we shouldn't. So discipline keeps us away from the bad and channeled to the good. If you are floundering in life, perhaps what you are missing is that discipline.

Four Emotions That Can Lead To Life Change

Emotions are the most powerful forces inside us. Under the power of emotions, human beings can perform the most heroic (as well as barbaric) acts. To a great degree, civilization itself can be defined as the intelligent channeling of human emotion. Emotions are fuel and the mind is the pilot, which together propel the ship of civilized progress.

Which emotions cause people to act? There are four basic ones; each, or a combination of several, can trigger the most incredible activity. The day that you allow these emotions to fuel your desire is the day you'll turn your life around.

1) Disgust:
One does not usually equate the word "disgust" with positive action. And yet properly channeled, disgust can change a person's life. The person who feels disgusted has reached a point of no return. He or she is ready to throw down the gauntlet at life and say, "I've had it!" That's what I said after many humiliating experiences at age 23, I said. "I don't want to live like this anymore.

I've had it with being broke. I've had it with being embarrassed, and I've had it with lying."

Yes, productive feelings of disgust come when a person says, "Enough is enough."

The "guy" has finally had it with mediocrity. He's had it with those awful sick feelings of fear, pain and humiliation. He then decides he is not going to live like this anymore." Look out! This could be the day that turns a life around. Call it what you will, the "I've had it" day, the "never again" day, the "enough's enough" day. Whatever you call it, it's powerful! There is nothing so life-changing as gut-wrenching disgust!

2) Decision:
Most of us need to be pushed to the wall to make decisions. And once we reach this point, we have to deal with the conflicting emotions that come with making them. We have reached a fork in the road. Now this fork can be a two-prong, three-prong, or even a four-prong fork. No wonder that decision-making can create knots in stomachs, keep us awake in the middle of the night, or make us break out in a cold sweat.

Making life-changing decisions can be likened to internal civil war. Conflicting armies of emotions, each with its own arsenal of reasons, battle each other for supremacy of our minds. And our resulting decisions, whether bold or timid, well thought out or impulsive, can either set the course of action or blind it. I don't have much advice to give you about decision-making except this:

Whatever you do, don't camp at the fork in the road. Decide. It's far better to make a wrong decision than to not make one at all. Each of us must confront our emotional turmoil and sort out our feelings.

3) Desire:
How does one gain desire? I don't think I can answer this directly because there are many ways. But I do know two things about desire:

a. It comes from the inside not the outside.
b. It can be triggered by outside forces.

Almost anything can trigger desire. It's a matter of timing as much as preparation. It might be a song that tugs at the heart. It might be a memorable sermon. It might be a movie, a conversation with a friend, a confrontation with the enemy, or a bitter experience. Even a book or an article such as this one can trigger the inner mechanism that will make some people say, "I want it now!"

Therefore, while searching for your "hot button" of pure, raw desire, welcome into your life each positive experience. Don't erect a wall to protect you from experiencing life. The same wall that keeps out your disappointment also keeps out the sunlight of enriching experiences. So let life touch you. The next touch could be the one that turns your life around.

4) Resolve:
Resolve says, "I will." These two words are among the most potent in the English language. I WILL. Benjamin Disraeli, the great British statesman, once said, "Nothing can resist a human will that will stake even its existence on the extent of its purpose." In other words, when someone resolves to "do or die," nothing can stop him.

The mountain climber says, "I will climb the mountain. They've told me it's too high, it's too far, it's too steep, it's too rocky, it's too difficult. But it's my mountain. I will climb it. You'll soon see me waving from the top or you'll never see me, because unless I reach the peak, I'm not coming back." Who can argue with such resolve?

When confronted with such iron-will determination, I can see Time, Fate and Circumstance calling a hasty conference and deciding, "We might as well let him have his dream. He's said he's going to get there or die trying."

The best definition for "resolve" I've ever heard came from a schoolgirl in Foster City, California. Many years ago, I was lecturing about success to a group of bright kids at a junior high school. I asked, "Who can tell me what "resolve" means?" Several hands went up, and I did get some pretty good definitions. But the last was the best. A shy girl from the back of the room got up and said with quiet intensity, "I think resolve means promising yourself you will never give up." That's it! That's the best definition I've ever heard: 'Promise Yourself You'll Never Give Up'.

Think about it! How long should a baby try to learn how to walk? How long would you give the average baby before you say, "That's it, you've had your chance"? You say that's crazy? Of course it is. Any mother would say, "My baby is going to keep trying until he learns how to walk!" No wonder everyone walks.

There is a vital lesson in this. Ask yourself, "How long am I going to work to make my dreams come true?" I suggest you answer, "As long as it takes." That's what these four emotions are all about.

2 Choices

Each of us has two distinct choices to make about what we will do with our lives. The first choice we can make is to be less than we have the capacity to be. To earn less. To have less. To read less and think less. To try less and discipline ourselves less. These are the choices that lead to an empty life. These are the choices that, once made, lead to a life of constant apprehension instead of a life of wondrous anticipation.

And the second choice? To do it all! To become all that we can possibly be. To read every book that we possibly can. To earn as much as we possibly can. To give and share as much as we possibly can. To strive and produce and accomplish as much as we possibly can. All of us have the choice. To do or not to do. To be or not to be. To be all or to be less or to be nothing at all.

Like the tree, it would be a worthy challenge for us all to stretch upward and outward to the full measure of our capabilities. Why not do all that we can, every moment that we can, the best that we can, for as long as we can?

Our ultimate life objective should be to create as much as our talent and ability and desire will permit. To settle for doing less than we could do is to fail in this worthiest of undertakings. Results are the best measurement of human progress. Not conversation. Not explanation. Not justification. Results! And if our results are less than our potential suggests that they should be, then we must strive to become more today than we were the day before. The greatest rewards are always reserved for those who bring great value to themselves and the world around them as a result of whom and what they have become.

Rhino Power

Why do we use the "Rhino" symbol? They are kind creatures that have thick skin. If you do mess with them they have a big horn. People changing their lives need to develop this "rhino" mentality. Not being afraid to deal with rejection. Many people give up on their dreams simply because it's hard and they face negativity. A rhino does not expect it to be easy. YOU ARE A RHINO!! We develop that thick skin don't be surprised when it's uncomfortable at first and you feel a little "soft". We all work on it more and more everyday to worry about what truly matters most, which is you and your family. Doing the best with what the creator of the life has given you.

Way back when we use to be able to raise a family on one income. Then people learned that specialized knowledge would make that trading of time for more dollars. That being the case more people started going to college so they could be paid more. Along these same times people started using credit cards more going into debt. Freedom and entrepreneurial ideas that America was founded on all of a sudden started to go by the wayside because people needed to go get their money to be able to pay off their amounting debt. Everyone had to work in order to just stay afloat. Now people are learning how with home business to use wealth principals without the risks involved. The concepts of residual income, equity, freedom, wealth, and all of the beautiful reasons to build our own dreams are attained with home business. People can even do this part time. But....With every new thing is a resistance to change. These little baby rhinos have to go out into the wild with the most beautiful concept in the world that is not fully replaced at this point.

Warren Buffet (The 2nd wealthiest person on the planet and top investor) has now taken part ownership in network marketing companies with a few million dollars. What does he see that your neighbor does not? Tony Robbins, Sprint, Coca-Cola, all and more have divisions or invest heavily in Network marketing.

Some of the ideas that work well for home business work for the whole game of life. It really creates an "accelerated way of life". Because we are not allowing time to slowly grow us, but rather focusing on ourselves to grow intentionally now. We need to learn to trade time for results not dollars. That concept works no matter what you're doing. Network marketing becomes a way of using that principle and working smart instead of hard.

Back 1975-79 the industry went to court with the FTC and came out as a legitimate business model and totally legal. This does not mean that there hasn't been and won't be bad companies just like dirty restaurants, and every business that has problem owners and operators.

Most people get started part time working 7-10 hours a week. Now what we do with those hours will help us either go forward or do nothing. If we can concentrate on duplicating our efforts we are leveraging our time and able to trade our time for "results" not just money. These "results" can be higher than the results we'd create by ourself on the job no matter how hard we work or specialized we get.

How do we get better at duplicating our efforts? Learning. Flat out...That's how. No hidden secrets, just becoming more ourselves so people take us seriously. That's the same thing the people that went from spending money every month in home business did to now make millions per month. People learn success just like they learn failure.

Success consciousness instead of failure consciousness. Prosperity consciousness instead of poverty consciousness. Changing our level of thinking. Changing what we think changes what we do. Changing what we do changes what we earn. Make sure you grow into your wealth consciousness before you generate the money because you'll lose it anyway. It's called the "sudden windfall syndrome" by psychologists. The lottery winners that end up being more broke after.

Success triangle.
Base of the triangle "internal communication" how you talk to yourself. People want more results, so they should change their actions, but to change actions we need to change our beliefs, which is where our habits are created from, our habits and beliefs will change by our internal communication. Most don't want to confront this although this is where it all happens.
Left side "external communication" how you deal with others. Learning more about others. Journey training.
Right side "technical know how" the specifics of what you're doing. These 3 angles of the triangle are what we need to learn and grow to attain our success.

Are you ready??? Time to be the RHINO!!!!

Nine things more important than money-By Jim Rohn

When starting any enterprise or business, whether it is full-time or part-time, we all know the value of having plenty of capital (money). But I bet we both know or at least have heard of people who started with no capital who went on to make fortunes. How, you may ask?Well, I believe there are actually some things that are more valuable than capital that can lead to your entrepreneurial success. Let me give you the list.

1. Time.Time is more valuable than capital. The time you set aside not to be wasted, not to be given away. Time you set aside to be invested in an enterprise that brings value to the marketplace with the hope of making a profit. Now we have capital time. How valuable is time? Time properly invested is worth a fortune. Time wasted can be devastation. Time invested can perform miracles, so you invest your time.

2. Desperation.I have a friend Lydia, whose first major investment in her new enterprise was desperation. She said, "My kids are hungry, I gotta make this work. If this doesn't work, what will I do?" So she invested $1 in her enterprise selling a product she believed in. The $1 was to buy a few fliers so she could make a sale at retail, collect the money and then buy the product wholesale to deliver back to the customer. My friend Bill Bailey went to Chicago as a teenager after he got out of high school. And the first job he got was as a night janitor. Someone said, "Bill, why would you settle for night janitor?" He said, "Malnutrition." You work at whatever you can possibly get when you get hungry. You go to work somewhere -- night janitor, it doesn't matter where it is. Years later, now Bill is a recipient of the Horatio Alger award, rich and powerful and one of the great examples of lifestyle that I know. But, his first job -- night janitor. Desperation can be a powerful incentive. When you say - I must.

3. Determination.Determination says I will. First Lydia said, "I must find a customer." Desperation. Second, she said, "I will find someone before this first day is over." Sure enough, she found someone. She said, "If it works once, it will work again." But then the next person said, "No." Now what must you invest?

4. Courage.Courage is more valuable than capital. If you've only got $1 and a lot of courage, I'm telling you, you've got a good future ahead of you. Courage in spite of the circumstances. Humans can do the most incredible things no matter what happens. Haven't we heard the stories? There are some recent ones from Kosovo that are some of the most classic, unbelievable stories of being in the depths of hell and finally making it out. It's humans. You can't sell humans short. Courage in spite of, not because of, but in spite of. Now once Lydia has made 3 or 4 sales and gotten going, here's what now takes over.

5. Ambition."Wow! If I can sell 3, I can sell 33. If I can sell 33, I can sell 103." Wow. Lydia is now dazzled by her own dreams of the future.

6. Faith. Now she begins to believe she's got a good product. This is probably a good company. And she then starts to believe in herself. Lydia, single mother, 2 kids, no job. "My gosh, I'm going to pull it off!" Her self-esteem starts to soar. These are investments that are unmatched. Money can't touch it. What if you had a million dollars and no faith? You'd be poor. You wouldn't be rich. Now here is the next one, the reason why she's a millionaire today.

7. Ingenuity.Putting your brains to work. Probably up until now, you've put about 1/10 of your brainpower to work. What if you employed the other 9/10? You can't believe what can happen. Humans can come up with the most intriguing things to do. Ingenuity. What's ingenuity worth? A fortune. It is more valuable than money. All you need is a $1 and plenty of ingenuity. Figuring out a way to make it work, make it work, make it work.

8. Heart and Soul. What is a substitute for heart and soul? It's not money. Money can't buy heart and soul. Heart and soul is more valuable than a million dollars. A million dollars without heart and soul, you have no life. You are ineffective. But, heart and soul is like the unseen magic that moves people, moves people to buy, moves people to make decisions, moves people to act, moves people to respond.

9. Personality. You've just got to spruce up and sharpen up your own personality. You've got plenty of personality. Just get it developed to where it is effective every day, it's effective no matter who you talk to - whether it is a child or whether it is a business person - whether it is a rich person or a poor person. A unique personality that is at home anywhere. One of my mentors, Bill Bailey, taught me, "You've got to learn to be just as comfortable, Mr. Rohn, whether it is in a little shack in Kentucky having a beer and watching the fights with Winfred, my old friend or in a Georgian mansion in Washington, DC as the Senator's guest." Move with ease whether it is with the rich or whether it is with the poor. And it makes no difference to you who is rich or who is poor. A chance to have a unique relationship with whomever. The kind of personality that's comfortable. The kind of personality that's not bent out of shape.

And lastly, let's not forget charisma and sophistication. Charisma with a touch of humility. This entire list is more valuable than money. With one dollar and the list I just gave you, the world is yours. It belongs to you, whatever piece of it you desire whatever development you wish for your life. I've given you the secret. Capital. The kind of capital that is more valuable than money and that can secure your future and fortune. Remember that you lack not the resources.

Freak Out Barrier

When you decide to change you are going to face some serious barriers. You need to be ready to fight through. We need to commit to a lifetime commitment to a daily program of self-improvement. You might think that's crazy, but how many of us eat everyday? Why not include 30-60 minutes a day to grow? You can't lose if you do this.

If x is where you are presently with your conditioning, then you get x type results. Someone who earns 50k has 50k type conditioning. We need to think different ideas, let's call this Y. If these ideas are only in our intellectual mind or consciousness then everything is fine. We are ok. But often we take it to the next level and get our emotions involved. This sends us to a freak out situation. Let's call it the freak out barrier. We start to have doubt, anxiety, fear, etc....

"If a person will advance confidently in the direction of their dream and endeavor to live the life they have imagined, they will meet with success unexpected in common hours."-Henry David Throreau
Do you notice it does not involve the freak out barrier but it does say "if"? Often when you make the first move it's the scariest. Your old self is trying to keep you where you are. When you go to change things it stirs up the freak out barrier. It is not right, but if you get emotionally involved and stressed you are going to have fear. We need to break through that barrier. To beat it we have to become immersed with the Y idea.

The choice rests in our consciousness so we can choose to plug in and pay attention to what's right instead of what's wrong. We all have a - and a + the negative sign is ignorance, the positive sign is knowledge. It is your choice to worry and doubt. You can justify why you should look at the negative but it will not help you. You don't need to suppress the anxiety that won't help you either. Just change your focus to look at the positives. Tell the negative to get lost.

Faith based on understanding is the key to success. I choose to be positive and understand that is all that is necessary to feel good and help create a more positive outcome. My focus will help me create situations. I know my old self will try and stop me but I won't let it. Study and beat it. One change will happen after another helping create the success you want in your life.

When you feed yourself good stuff you are going to create the faith necessary. Once it's set firm you will move into something called "well being". Well being is expressed through us. People see it and feel it. Just like they do on the negative side with anxiety. Since people see the well being they start to be attracted creating the positive situations we need. We are at ease.

"Calmness of mind is one of the beautiful jewels of wisdom. It is the result of long and patient effort in self-control." As A Man Thinketh-James Allen

People that are creating massive success they are loose and relaxed. You are relaxed when you are in charge of yourself. You then are in creation, able to make your life. Which do you want, ignorance that creates fear that creates anxiety, that creates suppression, that creates depression, that creates disintegration of dreams.

Or Study that creates understanding, that creates faith, that creates well-being, that creates health and vibrance expressed, that attracts whatever you decide to create. I know that you can create what you've made annually into a monthly income. You can do anything you want to. This computer you are reading this from is harder to do or create then your income coming monthly what use to take a year. When you start to emotionally get behind actually doing this you will hit the freak out barrier. When you do hit that don't give up. Immerse yourself with study on how to win. There are no short cuts. It doesn't mean it's going to take you a long time but it does mean you have to fight through that barrier and become at ease with your new mindset.

Learn and Grow

The Source of Charisma
Charisma actually comes from working on yourself. It comes from liking and accepting yourself unconditionally as you do and say the specific things that develop within you a powerful, charismatic personality.

Be Determined and Purposeful
When you set clear goals and become determined and purposeful, backing those goals with unshakable self-confidence, you develop charisma. When you are enthusiastic and excited about what you are doing, when you are totally committed to achieving something worthwhile, you radiate charisma. When you take the time to study and become an expert at what you do, and then prepare thoroughly for any opportunity to use your knowledge, skill or experience, the perception that others have of you goes straight up.

Accept Complete Responsibility
When you take complete responsibility and accept ownership, without making excuses or blaming others, you experience a sense of control that leads to the personal power that is the foundation of charisma. When you look like a winner in every respect, when you have the kind of external image that others admire, you build your charisma. When you develop your character by setting high standards and then disciplining yourself to live consistent with the highest principles you know, you become the kind of person who is admired and respected everywhere. You become the kind of person who radiates charisma to others.

Focus on Results
Finally, when you concentrate your energies on achieving the results that you need to develop your business, the results that others expect of you, you develop the reputation for performance and achievement that inevitably leads to the perception of charisma. You can develop the kind of charisma that opens doors for you by going to work on yourself, consistently and persistently, and becoming the kind of person everyone can admire and look up to. That's what charisma is all about.

Buddhist Wisdom

Meditation is like a single log of wood. Insight and investigation are one end of the log; calm and concentration are the other end. If you lift up the whole log, both sides come up at once. Which is concentration and which is insight? Just this mind.

Results Oriented Activity

Everything you do should be measurable so you can see how you are doing.

When I first started in home business I knew that in 5 years time of being devoted to the company I wanted to be the top personal volume producer, create a residual income, and be at a financial point that was higher than anything I had made before. In order to do it things were tracked very carefully. How many people I invited each day to take a look at the company, how many people showed up, how many signed up, what my volume was each week, month, and what my income was because of that. I would increase higher and higher my effort level to be able to create better results that would help me earn more income. I needed to track things carefully so I could duplicate that to my team.

Many people dream of big income within their first 90 days even if they had never made more than 3k in a month. I look for a 5 year commitment so we can truly change their lives for real not just a dream. Let's work on the first $500 then we can work our way up. It can come fast but lets start at the beginning.

Many people fail at goal setting because they don't set measurable goals. People have these big hopes and dreams but they still have the target bill due. Lets take care of the basics and then build greater. $500 in income in our marketing plan would be under 1700 bv's direct. Once we do that to make 1k would simple be to double that to 3400 bv's.

When you pick up the phone what is your goal. Focus on the result you intend. Many people know they need to act each day on these measurable activities and they fall off the plan. If you fall off, did you really want what you said you want? Many people have a reason to do the business and then use that reason to not do the business. Those are excuses. Commitment is doing what you said you were going to do long after the feeling that you said it in has left you. "If we are going to work together but you aren't willing to do anything I'm going to have to work with someone else, although I really want to help you." If they suffer from phone reluctance no big deal walk them through more calls with you.

Accountability is important. Find the key people that are looking for the help and need the accountability. When we are on the same page the conversations are easy. That takes time to get the ambition and belief that they are ready for accountability.

You will never give 100% effort to something that you don't know you can do. So take it bit by bit. Handle what you know you can handle. Many times the best people will hit a point of their threshold where they can't handle a job any longer, or being broke, or whatever is not to their liking. Once they reach that level they are ready for that change. Find someone who wants it, don't worry about having to convince people.

You will go up and down a lot especially if you are not really focusing on your own personal development. Make sure to load yourself up with the videos, live online trainings, articles in this blog, things that will help you forge ahead and realize that the discomfort is a valuable piece to the process of going forward.

Lift Off

I'm often asked the question, "How can I best help my children, spouse, family member, affiliates in my team, friend etc. improve/change?" In fact that might be the most frequently asked question I receive, "How can I help change someone else?"

My answer often comes as a surprise and here it is. The key to helping others is to help yourself first. In other words, the best contribution I can make to someone else is my own personal development. If I become 10 times wiser, 10 times stronger, think of what that will do for my adventure as a husband... as a friend... as a affiliate.

The best gift I can give to you, really, is my ongoing personal development. Getting better, getting stronger, becoming wiser. Raising people up to success is a lot like being a parent. I think parents should pick this valuable philosophy up. If the parents are okay, the kids have an excellent chance of being okay. Work on your personal development as parents; that's the best gift you can give to your children. If you have ever ridden in an airplane, then you might have noticed the oxygen compartment located above every seat. There are explicit instructions that say "In case of an emergency, first secure your own oxygen mask and then if you have children with you then secure their masks." Take care of yourself first... then assist your children. If we use that same philosophy throughout our whole parental life, it would be so valuable. If I learn to create happiness for myself, my children now have an excellent chance to be happy. If I create a unique lifestyle for myself and my spouse, that will be a great example to serve my children.

Self-development enables you to serve, to be more valuable to those around you; for your child... your business... your affiliates... your community.

That's why I teach development skills. If you keep refining all the parts of your character, yourself, your health, etc. so that you become an attractive person to the marketplace - you'll attract opportunity. Opportunity will then begin to seek you out. Your reputation will begin to precede you and people will want to do business with you. All of that possibility is created by working on the philosophy that success is something you attract by continually working on your own personal development.

WORK TO THE GRACE

Emotional muscle has to be worked out just like physical muscle. After working out it will then become graceful but not often during our time of transition. Many realize this but don't want to change now and put it off. We need to do it NOW. There will be no perfect time.

If you think it's ok to stay the same or go back then you will probably will. It's when you know that you can't go back ever again that you have a chance to move forward. Failure is not an option.

FAILURE IS NOT AN OPTION.

Many times people's runway to let their business lift off is way way too short. Anyone successful would look at you and think you will never be successful with that attitude.

Body for life challenge is a 12 week challenge to get into the best shape possible. Before and after pictures are required along with an essay about the changes that were make emotionally through the process. Whoever finished was in the top 4% because the rest did not complete it, out of 750,000 that started.

1. Your past does not have to equal your future. You must believe things can be different. What would you have to believe in order to quit your dreams? What would you have to believe to make it? Which do you choose to believe? We need to get out of our rearview mirror thinking. Choose beliefs that serve you.

2. Your subconscious mind can be programmed as long as you bombard it with conscious thoughts on what you choose to believe.

People will learn a new way and say to themselves that "I still feel that...." They are hanging onto the old stuff. That is part of the process, allow yourself to move into the new stuff even with that uncomfort. Those old habits love to try and sneak their way back in, that does not mean you can't move forward. Move through that comfort zone to get to where you want. The resistance is just showing you the strength of the old junk. Commit to fight, be glad that the fight has come into the open so you can choose to win. Those are the moments to create new habits.

Lots of us think things change just because we hear it or read it. Things change when we change. When we take what we learn and allow it to affect our behaviors. That's why some people take their time in their home business. They learn but it does not affect behaviors. When it affects behaviors then it changes results, results bring paychecks.

When I talk to prospects I think if we talk today it's because we were meant to and I'm going to go full out to give you all the help I can. I use to hold back kind of scared that I would mess up. I realized we were meant to have this conversation, and I should let loose.

We all think about quitting over and over, and as we fight through that our desire to succeed is winning out and once it wins then we have the commitment necessary to really win. We all know that you are not the person today to fulfill all your goals so relax. But we also know you are growing into the person that can do anything he or she wants to.

YOU CAN AND WILL DO IT!!!

Definite Purpose

Prerequisite to winning in life: A definite purpose. A purpose is like a compass. It is why you are doing what you are doing. The vision is how you are going to do it. Then Goals help us move towards our vision. Bite by bite.

Having fun and seeing nature was the purpose. The vision was to see the Grand Canyon. The goals were getting to the airport, then transferring to another plane, then getting off the plane to the Grand Canyon.

"What a different story people would have to tell if they would adopt a definite purpose and stand by that purpose until it had time to become an all-consuming purpose." Napoleon Hill

"Until thought is linked with purpose, there is no intelligent accomplishment." James Allen
Many don't have a purpose and just float. If an action is not on purpose we have to weed that out of our daily actions.

Purpose:
Gives our life meaning.
Gives life directions. Tells you where you want to go.
Explains why you get out of bed in the morning.
The reason why you do the things you do.

I heard the following purpose and adopted it for my business life.

My purpose: Empower people to develop entrepreneurial situations that will provide them with financial, time, and spiritual freedom.

A leader will create a large vision, so large that people start to help that vision take place. Once you have the vision you must break it down to goals.
"Any idea that is held in the mind that is emphasized, that is either feared or revered, will begin at once to clothe itself in the most convenient and appropriate physical form available." Andrew Carnegie
That explains how you get what you need to accomplish your purpose. You will attract everything needed to reach a goal when you build the idea. Everything must be locked into the goal. The goal is the step by step. That person who knows step by step is going to be alive.

Desire is the effort of the possibility within. When we start to sniff that we can really make our purpose come true we are feeding our desire.

Let your conscious start to program your subconscious. We need to allow ourself to feel that all is possible. We try to slow ourselves down, don't do that, we need to let the emotions out to really feel that all can be obtained.

Studying alone won't do it. We need to change the basics that all we want can be obtained. We need to let it loose. The how to's will never be as valuable as positive knowing that all can be accomplished.

Get the conscious and the subconscious going after results.

Secret of success: Givers gain. Find out what others want and help them get it.

Relationships

The Communication Process
The ancient Greeks taught that all conversation involved three ingredients: Ethos, or the character of the speaker; Pathos, connecting with the emotions; and Logos. The logos discussed by the Greeks refers to the factual content of a message, the words used. It refers to the argument that you present on behalf of your point of view. (However, we know that the facts themselves, although they are important, are not as powerful or as influential as the emotions are.)

The Selling Process
In selling, we know that there are three parts to the process. These are, first, establishing rapport with the prospective customer, second, identifying the problem or need that the prospective customer has and, third, presenting the solution. These are the ethos, the pathos and the logos of selling to someone.

Build Good Relationships
Your success in every area of life will be based largely on the quality and quantity of relationships that you can initiate and develop over time. In the world of business and sales today, relationships are everything. We often call this the “friendship factor.” We have discovered that a person will not do business with you until he or she is convinced that you are his or her friend and are acting in his or her best interest. In other words, you cannot influence someone unless he or she likes you in some way. Of course, it’s often possible for you to influence a person if he fears you, but that type of influence lasts only until the person can rearrange his situation and escape from the circumstances that enable you to have control over him.

Muslim Wisdom

Practice what you have learned, for theory without practice is like a spirit without a body. One who is content with learning alone is not learned, for the truly learned seeks more than mere words. Divine guidance entails self-mortification, without which contemplation is unattainable.-Al-Hujwiri, "The Kashf al-Mahjub"

Concentrate

One of the great skills of a successful salesperson is their ability to concentrate. The Bible, one of the great success manuals, says, "No man can serve two masters." To be a success, one must be absobed by it, and devoted to it. He does best who eats, drinks, sleeps and lives success until it gets into his mind, heart and blood stream. Then it will overflow into his eyes, face, handshake, actions -- and wallet.

Rays of sunshine gently warm the earth. But concentrated through a magnifying glass, they can start a forest fire. Rain, spread over an entire city has little effect, but concentrate the rain in one place, and you have a powerful torrent, able to move anything in it's path. Likewise, a businessperson who becomes destracted by sidelines, errands, and trivial pursuits is of little effect compared to the one who learns to focus his efforts and actions.

The Bible says, "A double-minded man is unstable in all his ways." When a homebusiness person "sees double," he gets into trouble, like the prize fighter who, after a bad licking, said, "Where I made my mistake was that I didn't knock him out in the first round when he was alone."

Success Tip: Supercharge your success with the power of a single purpose. Don't let distractions rob you of your concentration.

Fill The Bucket

The theory of the dipper and the bucket. We all have an emotional bucket. When it's full we feel great and when empty don't go near us. We all have a metaphorical dipper either adding to or taking away from the levels in our bucket. Every interaction we are involved with adds or takes away. Many people want to figure out how to add to their bucket. The key in tons of research has been to give to others and that adds the most to your bucket. Clinically that changes you.

Positive emotions have been tracked to higher vitality rates. Living 10 years longer than people with negative emotions. People talk about smoking or weight loss but research shows this is actually up there with those two. 20,000 waking moments each day lasting a few seconds. The neutral moments don't stick but the ups and downs do. We may think it's ok to be 1:1 in terms of positives vs. Negatives but the truth is we need to shoot for over 3 positives for every 1 negative.

Where can you get your positives? :
1. Giving to your team. Hope, encouragement, love, getting their promotions and pictures on the site
2. Online trainings
3. Videos
4. Coaching site
5. Goals, planning and taking action towards your future dream
6. Sharing the opportunity with others

A few positive emotions and moments can go along way. This is especially important when people are new and things are surrounded in fear and may seem more negative than they really are.

#1 people leave their jobs is because they don't feel appreciated. It has nothing to do with the work or the pay.

Optimistic people have more dopamine and t4 cells that help fight diseases in their blood.

5 strategies to help positive emotions
1. Prevent bucket dipping. Try to add to others buckets instead of dipping and removing from theirs. One person of leadership can change positive emotions through a whole team rather quickly. We need to lead the charge in terms of adding to others. If someone is always negative and you can't change it no matter what you've tried to do you will need to steer clear of them.

2. Shine light on what's right. Focus on anything and everything that is good. School grades most pay attention to the F's and not so much the A's. It is better to focus the bulk of attention on the positive grades and work on strategies to increase the lower grades. Same thing in our business....Focus on people's strengths.

3. Make Best Friends. When people have best friends at work they are always more productive. Familiarity breeds more success.

4. Give Unexpectedly. Expected gifts are ok but they are expected. Giving them responsibility and trust. Having them do more and more in the business. Some think that would stress them out more but that is not true.

5. Reverse the golden rule. Do unto others as they would have you do unto them. How would they like to be treated.

Business Like Athletics

In the world of athletics, there is a work ethic that has become all but extinct in the business community. Athletes know that to be successful in their sport, they must practice, work, exercise, and drill. They must push themselves beyond their comfort zone; they must study the competition and spend hours perfecting their execution. In athletics, they know that hard work yields exceptional results.

But in the business world, many have lost the ethic of work. Rather than working hard, too many Americans are "hardly working." The trend is to look for the easy way. We often hear that we should "work smart." But, some have become so focused on being "smart" they neglect the other half of the equation: work!

Yes, we can streamline procedures and improve efficiency; yes, we can incorporate technology and modern machinery to boost effectiveness. But, when it comes right down to it, nothing can replace old-fashioned hard work and massive, focused effort. When a professional athlete begins to feel exhausted and strained in practice, he or she doesn’t get discouraged. On the contrary, they know that they are strengthening their muscles, expanding their endurance, and honing their skills so that they can perform at an even higher level the next time they compete. Whether your career is demanding physically, mentally, or emotionally, you too can give it your very best effort. If you do, not only will your current project be accomplished well, but you will be consistently improving and others will notice your work ethic. Pretty soon, you will be on the road to greater success and accomplishment.

I once knew a college student who failed to understand this principle. Wherever he went, he took his books along with him. When he sat down with friends, he spread out his books and homework. If he watched TV, his books were always there. My friend often spoke about the long hours he spent studying and how tired he was. The fact is, he seldom actually studied with any intensity at all. He spent most of his time thinking and worrying about studying, and very little time actually doing it.

Work means disciplining yourself to spend the time, focus your attention, exert all the effort you can, and stick with it. Those who do so will learn to love their work and to crave the satisfaction of a job well done. Don't just think about it, do it. Give life your best effort, and success will flow unto you in greater abundance. An age-old proverb sums it up in these words, "work will win, when wishy-washy wishing won't!"

Where do you want to be and why?

I looked at the successful people in home business and said to myself "Now that looks like a good job". Then I did whatever I had to do to make it happen.

How great would it be to live your life to have a positive impact on the lives of others that will go on forever even after you and I are gone? That is what we are doing here.

What would the benefits of being massively successful in this be to your life? The people that know "why" are always going to be the leaders over the people that know "how".

The Law of the Broom

To get our business to the next level we must clean it up. Research shows that our days are cluttered up with things that do not help us become successful. Building our team and sharing with non-profits are the most valuable use of our time. People that lose manage the sales they've already made too much. Think of how much time you are actually selling per day. For most that time is less than 50%, usually far less. We need to put more time into those actual cash earning future building times.

If we can't do things right when will we find time to do things over again? If we can't do things right do we want to do it twice as long?

Positive actions create positive results, and the same in reverse. We need to establish tight clean systems. We will earn trust and create results by being proactive in these areas.

Green Light Activities:
At first when learning to drive we watched and learned about the stop lights. We were very careful as we prepared for our drivers test. Then as we got on our own we didn't care so much where we were going we were just happy to go. Slowly but surely the colors of the light had a little less meaning for us, along with the other rules of the road. Then we maybe got into an accident or got a ticket and we then were set back into a state of doing things by the book again. That's how our business is. We get ready to roll like crazy once we get started but we need to pay attention to some rules of selling. What would happen if we focused more on green light activities and limited the red light ones

Redlight activities:
1. Managing unproductive people
2. Teaching people
3. Dealing with high maintenance low profit people
4. Being disrupted by personal issues
5. TV
6. Too long of breaks
7. Wasting time riding the emotional rollercoaster

Greenlight Activities:
1. High trust planning
2. High trust referral prospecting
3. High trust referral follow up
4. New prospecting
5. High trust relationship management and growth
6. Adding value to key affiliates

The 100% question what would your career look like if you focused one green light activities?

Slow down instead of speeding up. Cleaning up with take some time. These are the yellow lights. We need to yield and think of what is a red versus green light in our lives. To grow a big business this will become even more important as we go.

Yellow light:
1. improving your knowledge of the company
2. Finding the right prospects
3. Generating and managing leads
4. Improving your presentation skills
5. Improving objection management skills
6. Working with OurGV tools.

If you really watch the yellow lights it's possible to avoid the red lights altogether. Maybe every third friday spend an hour or so looking at where you can get more focused and cut down on any slow areas of your schedule. Many people are shocked with the amount of time it actually takes to make the calls they need to make with the amount of hours there are in a day to make them. We probably could use 500 leads a week if we really focused but instead we get bogged down with activities that don't help us as much. Even part time people if truly adding up their schedule could use way more leads than they are currently getting if they focused on the productivity of their time. At the end of each hour think about how you spent your time. Most of the time you will find you manage existing affiliates instead of getting new ones. Using the checklist and promoting it right in the first place will save you tons of time down the road. What if someone does not work with the checklist? Does that sound like the super motivated affiliate you would like?

Let's clean it up!!

Inside Out

We are conditioned to live from the outside in instead of the inside out. What we have is not a representation of what we can be when we focus inside.

When we are born we are wide open that's why we accept all things and end up taking the results in life being passed down from generation to generation. Sometime we finally have to decide enough is enough. I am going to fill up my conscious with something different so I attain different results.

Some people eat turnip greens others eat the root. Someone in our family has been passing that down from generation to generation. Everything is passed down that way. What language do you speak? How come?

Every new opportunity we were conditioned differently. Many people follow people just because they think they should. Guess what I did in home business. I decided to not be taught and conditioned by the others involved but by the CEO of the company. I wanted to be the best.

With the limiting people in our lives we have to be able to handle them. Our spouse can be tough. Right out 10 real positive things about your spouse. Read it 10x per day. You'll see that they aren't only negative. We are conditioned to focus on the negatives so we end up making the OPO seem bigger than it actually is in our lives.

Lack in our lives is a lie. It's our perception is messed up. There is no end to the abundance that exists in our lives. Thought causes all. If I want to make more money I better go do something and learn how to make money. Focus on changing my thoughts because the true results are endless. We need to reprogram our thinking. We should be reading this stuff every second possible, going to every training, treating each learning moment as the gold it will produce.

Don't focus on small things. Focus on prosperity and set a plan for the small debts that you'd like to pay off. A big dream will get people to want to come join.

If we can put someone on the moon we can figure out how to become successful. We just need to learn and focus the same way those people have and follow that plan to the very detail. Everything functions according to law. We need to study and follow the laws.

A goals : doing something you know how to do already. Playing it safe.

B goals : What do I think I can do? With my experiences where could I get to? No inspiration to it.

C goals : This is what I really want. I don't know how to get it. I need to fantasize on it. The more I plan and dream the more this will take place. This dream will help get me through all the tough times. Fall in love with your dream. By law it will start to take place. Think of everything you see around you, every accomplishment, wasn't it all a dream first before the inventor new how to get it to take place. Failure is a law on the way to success to help us grow and become more. If you can see it you can hold it in your hand. Do not follow the masses.

Give

Do Nice Things For Others
One of the best ways to influence someone is to do something nice for him. I know many successful salespeople who make a habit of taking their prospects out to breakfast or lunch. During the breakfast or lunch, they do not talk about their products or services unless the client brings it up. They merely make small talk, ask questions and listen. They work on building trust, and they work on establishing a friendly relationship. At the end of the breakfast or lunch, they tell the prospect that they will be getting in touch with him sometime in the future with the possibility of talking to him about helping him in some way.

See Them As Friends and Partners
The best salespeople and businesspeople in America today are those who look upon their customers and prospective customers as friends and partners. They always look for ways to help their partners improve their lives in ways that are not directly related to the products or services they sell. They sow seeds, and they reap a harvest. They trigger a desire in people to reciprocate. When the time comes for those salespeople to approach their prospects with the possibility of buying their products or services, the prospects are wide open to the questions and inputs of the salespeople. The prospects have a deep-down desire to reciprocate.

Send Thank You Notes
One of the best ways to use this principle in your interactions is to continually look for ways to say and do positive things for people. Look for ways to do kind acts and favors for your friends and prospects. Send thank-you notes. Send birthday cards. Send clippings from newspapers about subjects that you feel may be of interest to them. Always keep your promises, and follow up on your commitments. Always do what you say you will do. Do everything possible to put in, knowing confidently that you will ultimately be able to get out far more. You will reap if you sow.

Be A Go-Giver Rather Than A Go-Getter
Someone has observed that no one ever built a statue to a person to acknowledge what he or she got out of life. Statues are built only to people to acknowledge what they gave. The most powerful, influential and successful people you will ever meet always look for ways to do nice things for others. When you meet someone under almost any circumstance, one of the best questions you can ask is this: “Is there anything that I can do for you?” Always look for ways to put in rather than to take out. The successful man or woman of today is a “go-giver” as well as a go-getter.

Be Open and Empathetic
The more that people feel that you are open and empathetic and sensitive to their needs and concerns, the more open they will be to your influencing them positively in some way. And the more you can influence others with the power and impact of your personality, the more you will accomplish, and the faster you will accomplish it. The more rapidly you will move toward the great success that you desire and deserve.

Steps to a super attitude

Decide How to React
It is not what happens to you that counts. It is how you react to what happens to you, especially when you have unexpected problems of any kind. In this posting, you learn powerful strategies you can use to keep yourself thinking and acting positively and creatively. Here are four things you can do to assure that your attitude is the very best it can be, under all circumstances.

Focus On the Future
First, whatever challenges you face, focus on the future rather than on the past. Instead of worrying about who did what and who is to blame, focus on where you want to be and what you want to do. Get a clear mental image of your ideal successful future, and then take whatever action you can to begin moving in that direction. Get your mind, your thoughts, and your mental images on the future.

Think About the Solution

Second, whenever you’re faced with a difficulty, focus on the solution rather than on the problem. Think and talk about the ideal solution to the obstacle or setback, rather than wasting time rehashing and reflecting on the problem. Solutions are inherently positive, whereas problems are inherently negative. The instant that you begin thinking in terms of solutions, you become a positive and constructive human being.

Look For the Good
Third, assume that something good is hidden within each difficulty or challenge. Dr. Norman Vincent Peale, a major proponent of positive thinking, once said, “Whenever God wants to give us a gift, he wraps it up in a problem.” The bigger the gift you have coming, the bigger the problem you will receive. But the wonderful thing is that if you look for the gift, you will always find it. Seek the Valuable Lesson Fourth, assume that whatever situation you are facing at the moment is exactly the right situation you need to ultimately be successful. This situation has been sent to you to help you learn something, to help you become better, to help you expand and grow.

Decide to Be Positive
A Positive Mental Attitude is indispensable to your success. You can be as positive as you want to be if you will simply think about the future, focus on the solution and look for the good. If you do what other successful people do, if you use your mind to exert mental control over the situation, you will be positive and cheerful most of the time. And you will reap the benefits enjoyed by all successful people.

Success is a process

We all have a desire to achieve some level of success. For some the desire is greater than the average person. Let's face it, everyone wants to be successful but very few are really willing to pay that price of W.E.I.T. (What Ever It Takes). There are people who buy a health club membership with all the hopes and wishes of getting into shape but never seem to make it through the doors even with paying monthly. We need to be different. We need to take a stand for our future and be people that DO not only wish. It is a posture that you take that states "I deserve to have it all."

Success is attainable to all, yet so few achieve it. Success is a habit and has no real secrets. It all starts with your belief system. Your belief system starts with how you feel about yourself. Your own personal self-esteem is the key ingredient to so much of your success. You must first adopt a personal positive self-image of yourself. In OurGV it is always going to be "YOU" and your second product is people. You are really marketing your confidence. This is why a positive self-image is so important, especially in your first conversation with your prospects. (You never get a second chance to make a first impression.)

Forgiving yourself, other in your past, past mistakes & failures are paramount in your early journey to success. A key point to remember here is that you attract to your reality who and what you are. When you are positive and feel good about you, you attract like-minded individuals. The same holds true if you are negative in your thought processes. Your thought processes will always determine your bank account of love. It is essential that you learn to forgive, let go, and let go of your past. Many people drag their past into their present, which stops them from ever having a clear vision of their future.

Have fun, go nuts. What do you have to lose by letting it all out? If you let it all out and struggle you'll feel like you failed, so you'll do less now and make sure you don't do well???? That doesn't make sense. Let it all hang out, fail and learn like I did so your best improves. Then one day you'll succeed and realize how far you've come from where you started.

Have Fun and Get It Done

No matter what the situation, no matter what the task, we should always do our best. We should do the best job we can possibly do. Why? Because what we do and how we do it speaks volumes about who we are.

Dedicate Yourself To Excellence No Matter What The SituationHave you ever had to do something you didn't want to do at work or at home and found yourself grumbling and pouting through the entire thing? It seemed as if the work would never get done.

The truth is, sometimes we all have to do things we don't want to do, all of us. But instead of complaining and being miserable make sure, no matter what you're doing, to have fun. The fact is that if something has to get done, it has to get done. And if we have to do it we have two choices - we can be the martyr (they're always fun to be around) and huff and puff through the whole thing asking "Why me?"- or we can decide to make everything a fun task and make a game out of it.

Take pride in everything that you do. People will notice your dedication to excellence, your contagious enthusiasm and your positive attitude. And even if they don't, you will feel better about yourself and your work.
