Mentor as Coach

No person is an island.

Ground rules for being in a mentor relationship:
1. Be an enthusiastic learner.

2. Be a student of the mentoring process.

3. Help others as much as you are helped.

4. Study like crazy every week.

5. Commit.

If you've done something once you can do it twice. And if you've done it twice you can make it a habit. Habits rule our days.

Everybody has strengths and weaknesses. Build on your strengths and eliminate or at least manage the weaknesses. Until you identify and deal with the limiting stuff in our lives we will never be as good as we can be.

Training is the number one thing that will affect our future. It's a process. Coaching and mentoring is a continual process forward.

When thinking about your mentor identify what area in your life that content will target. Financial, health, spiritual, or other area of your life.

Stick to the program, so that it is comfortable for all parties. A mentor will not be satisfied working with you if you are not sticking to the plans that have been shared.

How many mentors can I have? As many as don't limit you from doing what you need to do.

Many of my mentors started off as authors that I met through their books. Then we started to get to know each other better as I moved forward.

There maybe one idea a coach shares with you that changes your life forever. People think that the difference between success and failure is gigantic. That is not true at all. A slight change can affect you and your family forever. Many will not have that opportunity in life to have another person care for them in these ways.

How do you think you should treat someone who can help you this much?

I think I treat them with the utmost RESPECT and appreciation. Never take them for granted and make sure I apply what they tell me. I Thank you for your Blog and Coaching every day. Very Grateful. Thanks so very much. Best Success, Mark C.

I think I should kiss the ground you walk on. Really. I think I need to improve the ways I treat you even more. Nothing is enough to thank you for mentoring me, and in such magnificent way. My best plan so far to thank you is to really help you reach your goal. Thank you is a small word. But thank you anyway my dear mentor.

Treat them is the best possible way. I am so grateful for the mentoring I have received and continue to receive..my goal is to give back in abundance what Ihave received and more and work on my self everyday to make that happen.
thank you!!

These people only deserve the highest respect we can afford them. In our business, where we are only a 2 tiered marketing system, a lot of the mentors don't even directly benefit from these efforts. But they still respond with assistance, as much as is humanly possible, every time a new person requests their guidance. In essence they lay down their "lives" for us, and "greater love hath no man than that he lay down his life for his friends." Thank you for all you do.
