Power of Persistence

Napoleon Hill said of all the people he studied the one common fact was their power of persistence.

Accept what you want to achieve. What your supposed to do must be done to hit your goals. Accept it. Then commit to it. If we do that we'll be in more peace about it and open to the enjoyment from it. We want joy from making phone calls but it will not happen by itself. I will be in joy and feeling joy because I have accepted it and committed to it. Now that I am joyful I can be enthusiastic about it. I have a purpose behind my daily tasks.

When discouragement comes it is just a little teacher. There are many lessons that can be learned through all struggle. We learn more from these challenges than anything. When we learn from them we get over those struggles and in fact limit them from happening as often in the future. Failure happens don't let that be your identity. Learn from all of them.

When you see others moving forward faster and you compare yourself to them you will get in your own way. We are all different unique people and should not compare ourselves to others because we are not them. We need to do the best that we can and compare ourselves to our best.

You need to know your purpose and goals better than you know anything. This is your movie. Your life. It needs to be the closest thing to you above all else. How does it feel to already achieve that goal? That is how you need to feel. We feel joy, peace, happiness, and these feeling lead to the results taking place.

If we always "need" more we will always "need" more. You are working for survival only. Don't look at what you "need" change the mindset. Some say "I have to" that's for security..."I want to" for social gain, "I choose to" for self development (getting better)..."I love to" for self-fulfillment, "I am called for this" that is the best creating self-actualization. The lower levels are not going to draw success to us, we change our consciousness and then we will change our results. This is more important than changing your hours or your leads (all external things). At the higher levels we are not working out of desperation but out of inspiration. Which do you think would be more attractive to others? It has nothing to do with our to do's and being in love with them. More so why we are doing the "to do's".

You cannot anchor to an unanchored mind. Our belief has to be stronger than the world's doubt. We need to be the bowl of glue for our people. Everytime they stick their hands in they take some of the glue out with them.

We need to enjoy the moment. Our awareness from the past and the future all into this moment that we are having now allow us to get the most out of right now.

It is not always necessary to be positive all the time to persist. We are going to have sometimes that aren't incredible. We can't compare ourselves to the illusion of things that don't exist. We can embrace tough times to learn from them. The key is not to get into a downward spiral of negative thoughts that create a bigger problem than was originally there. We can have an overall optimistic attitude that realizes there will be bumps on the road that help us stretch and grow.

I have a quote that I came up with and I would like you to use it as a blog. "To not learn from the past and to not plan for the future are the two biggest mistakes that can be made in the present.", thank you for all the great blogs, I'm still reading them. There are many but I would like to see more. Thank you.
